Oh! Is it not the case that what one has personally experienced cannot be accomplished by oneself or others? If so, then what is shown is not that the object is unestablished, but rather that all that is manifest, its cause is manifest itself. If that is not established, then what does not change? That is, those who desire manifestation from manifestation are those who accept manifestation. If the nature of what has become manifest is not established, then what should be pervaded by manifestation itself will also not change, which shows that even if manifestation is not established. The cause of manifestation refers to the non-establishment of the eyes and so on. Is not what is called manifestation completely unrelated? What has become manifest is not impossible to establish, but it means that it is necessary to acknowledge that the cause at that time is not established, which is the view of the Victorious Ones. If it is not self-awareness, then it will not be related to the self, that is so. By eliminating the defilements of the afflicted mind, one has accomplished what needs to be done and is endowed with wisdom. With vast patience and surpassing compassion, accompanied by the pure Sangha. The Victorious Ones who, with excellent Samadhi, have realized the meaning as it is. With beautiful words, they cause joy to arise in the minds of the wise. The commentary on the Ornament of Valid Cognition, authored by the commentator Victorious One, Chapter Two is completed. Inference that is immediately distinguished by another's purpose by direct perception is not, words and inferences that are not distinguished will also become for the sake of others. Because it is the very thing that cognizes the realm of connection, it will also become direct perception. If direct perception needs words, then inference is the same. Just as others have no inference, there is also no direct perception. Because one understands through the three modes and then makes others understand, it is inference itself. If one understands from direct perception and then makes others understand, then it is the same here, because while understanding from that, one understands from the appearance of words and then understands, so the self-meaning and other-meaning that enable others to understand, will direct perception also become for the sake of others? If you think so, then the inference of self-meaning is spoken, direct perception also understands and then says this and this.

That which is called "..." refers to stating the object of investigation. Immediately after the inference for oneself, even if not a yogi, it exists in the previous state, this is its meaning. In the meantime, although there is direct perception of self-interest, it is shown separately for the sake of distinction. In this way, the refutation that "there is no difference between the two speakers" can be eliminated. Or, the analysis of valid cognition and non-cognition is because of inference, so first classify it, and then the second sentence "That itself is valid cognition, not deceiving. (Tibetan: དེ་ཉིད་ཚད་མ་མི་སླུ་ཅན།)" also distinguishes it with the common characteristic, and exemplifies it with direct perception, after which, these two will surely inform others of the realization, which is also the other-benefit of the speaker and the inference of the listener, because recognizing the relationship is the reason. Or, after classifying the common characteristic with inference, the difference is revealed through meditation. Showing it to others with compassion, if there is no reason, one cannot make others realize it, therefore, the statement of the three-aspect reason in the first chapter is the direct statement of the inference for oneself. Because the inference for others is preceded by the inference for oneself. What one sees oneself is what one sees through direct perception and inference. Because this makes it very clear, it is what makes it clear, it is certain, and not just words. Following "the meaning seen by oneself", it is to make it clear from the meaning seen by oneself, thus it is established. Oneself is oneself. The word "also" in these is the sixth case of the agent. To understand wrongly is that the meaning seen by oneself should be prevented. That "also" is to make it clear. The meaning seen by oneself, from the perspective of making it clear, is the three aspects, because others cannot do it, so the word "three aspects" is shown. For what is to be proven, there is hesitation; while the prover is certain, it is the meaning of making it clear and inference, and not other, this shows the word "from the reason of the three aspects". Words established from scripture are meaningless.
