So, the word "that" refers to desire. The word "seeing" means certainty, that is, it means "seeing," and it does not refer to what is related to self-awareness. The commentary explains that difference and so on are not established as self-awareness. If one holds onto seeing similarity, then the self is awareness; otherwise, everything will become invisible, which explains the establishment of self-awareness. This refers to others. For what? For similarity itself, that is, for the similarity of seeing similarity itself. The commentary explains that difference and so on are not real, so there is no meaning for the self-awareness that clings to it, which is to explain the meaning of this answer, that is, "difference and the possessor of difference." The word "difference and" is because it is not the nature of such a thing. If one does not recognize the knower, then what is to be known is also not recognized. If recognition itself is awareness, then it will also become self-awareness, which explains that "all experiences will be reversed." Just like "all beings are not clear," this is what is remembered, which is the view of the Victorious One. Because the nature of difference cannot exist as other, this is the content of the commentary, which is "that also." After explaining that others later know the difference of self-nature taken by others, if the former is not the object of the latter, then how can the latter truly hold the former as an object? Because there is no such statement, it is not its nature, so it is said, "Whose seeing is similar." The explanation for the establishment of self-awareness and so on is, "First, there is no seeing of difference." The root awareness that is aided by memory, at that time is awareness; was it not before? This is saying, "However, later." If the object that has not been aided, how can there be aid? This explains that it will become other, that is, "by its nature," which is non-difference and so on. The possessor of difference itself is extra, because it will become not its object, so there is no autonomy in holding it as other. Saying that one takes a fish bladder for silver, this explains that it is confusion, that is, "it is so." What is it?
