Saying "it is not only what will happen" refers to "both." Explaining "what is the great difference between what has happened and what will happen" refers to "the same nature." "Happened" refers to having the state of having happened, that is, the present state. Explaining that "clinging to oneness is merely a manifest desire" refers to "therefore." "Cause" refers to potters, etc. "As it is" refers to pots and potters, etc., or also to assembled houses, etc. If it is not seen in this way, then it existed before. At the time of inference, is it not also seen by others? If one says, "How will that happen?", then "at that time also" refers to before. "From what?", meaning "as it is," saying "it exists by the nature of being seen by others" means there is no valid cognition. Furthermore, explaining that "only one's own appearance is knowledge, but not the appearance of others" refers to "furthermore." "Not to be realized" means through direct perception. "The appearance of external objects" is because it is seen by others, and "being seen by others" is also because it is said by us and seen by others, therefore explaining that it is not from oneself, i.e., "if it is known through inference." That is to say, even if it is not known through direct perception. "That also" refers to others. "From what?", meaning "if it is common with others," that is to say, if it is known to be seen by others. "That exists" refers to the external object, that is, the appearance of its own nature. "When that exists," if there is knowledge of the external object of its own nature's appearance, that is to say, through the way of inference that takes grasping the connection as a prerequisite, from knowing the appearance of others, if there is no knowledge of the external object to be proven, because the one related to it is not known. "If the object to be proven is known through direct perception, because the connection with it is known, it is inference," explaining this is "if it is certain." "Merely inference, because the connection is not known, it is said to be mutually dependent," this is "inference." The two heaps of reeds, body and mind, are also established as existing from others, that is, mutually dependent.

Showing that it is not unfounded is for the sake of mutual showing. In one's own continuum, the perception of a blue fruit as being external is determined by conceptual thought arising from beginningless habit, and elsewhere, it is determined that that fruit is the cause of that, and it is shown that the apprehended itself is consciousness. Therefore, it is called such a subsequent thought from beginningless time, that is, conceptual thought arises subsequently from the habit of conceptual thought. The ultimate meaning is because it is done by direct perception. Experience itself is the ultimate of self-awareness. One with an object cannot know, because one knows oneself, therefore that knowledge is. Because it does not go beyond this definition. Undifferentiated, because it belongs to the category of proximity, the following is consciousness. How is it known, because even in delusion, conceptual thoughts such as the apprehended are not abandoned. The nature of delusion does not exist in the external world, mantras, etc., make the appearance large become small, and small become large. That itself is not external, because it is not its cause, and because others have not seen it, and because it is not an external appearance except for various kinds. Merely those two show that the apprehended and the other are not, that is, mantras and tantras, etc. For the delusion of external appearance itself, it is neither harmful nor non-existent, and it is also for a small amount, because from the increase, the object itself increases.

Saying "for negation, it is not" means, saying "that itself depends on direct perception" is reversing the order. That is the habit of the nature of discrimination, because discrimination arises in sequence. Not being truly existent means not being external. However, if the external is established by the discrimination of the nature of discrimination, then it is also shown that the external not being is also contradictory, and for negation it is also subsequent inference, discrimination arises from the non-appearance of the external. Saying "both" means knowing what existed before and what does not exist later, because it is not common to each individual's each consciousness. After abandoning consciousness, knowing subsequently from that other, because it becomes other, the grasped itself is not other than the hidden self-nature. Therefore, it is because of being uncommon. Thus, by negation, it is not existence itself. Saying "even so" means even if not knowing by negation. Saying "existence itself is common" is the debater. Saying "however" is the question asked by the sectarian, saying "not knowing" is negation, and not knowing what is negated by others. If inference is known, then it is shown that it is also for negation, saying "for negation also" is the meaning of contradiction. Saying "no" is because it is harmed by the inference that holds the commonality itself. Saying "how" is because of the permissibility of appearing from self and other, because one itself is not an inferential object. Showing that the fruit swelling etc., one is similar like happiness, but it is with occasion, saying "one itself and". Thus, it is not the inference of negation, because it is an object of the unseen, showing saying "here" means, that itself and other itself have no difference here. Therefore, because direct perception does not cognize the commonality itself, so it is not known as such the commonality itself in others, saying "it is determined as such in others" is the summary of the tenet. The direct perception of others is not on the commonality itself, but how that is not, that of others
