How does it become valid cognition? The valid cognition that obtains the ultimate encounter is itself the same as the object of what is to be harmed and what harms, and this is also prevented, because one's own time is only the object. Thus, he thought. This, called "this," is other. "That," called "that," is the previous knowledge. Even so, what is called "thus" and so on is the answer, because everything also has the attainment of something else. Even so, showing that there is no distinction between valid and invalid cognition is therefore called "ultimate." Merely other is not the object, but worldly people think that the attainment of the ultimate encounter that is desired to be manifested is valid cognition. If so, showing that it is only conventional is called "how it is in the conventional, it is just how it is." Why is it desired to be manifested? Therefore, it is called "the suchness of things," that is, whatever something is like, that thing is just like that, this is conventional, thus distinguishing, that thing is just like that. Called "also for the general characteristic," like Brahmins serving fires in the spring, and giving to Brahmins, etc., for all general characteristics, etc., there is also an external function, one should think that there is no function, showing that it is not for what does not exist, called "for intelligence," because this does not have the characteristic of intelligence, there is intelligence that follows and returns, like the intelligence of form, etc. The intelligence of the general characteristic that arises only from effort, etc., is not, like the blurred knowledge that arises only from the eye, etc. Like the intelligence of the eye and form, etc. Called "like," like the intelligence of the eye, etc., and like the intelligence of form, etc., are examples of non-existence and existence in order. Called "for the object of the object and the causal condition," the object of the object is the intelligence of form, etc. The object of the causal condition is blurred, etc. Even so, showing that without the eye, etc., it is internal. For such doubt, what is that itself? That horse is the habit of the cow.
