If it is said that having no object of focus is the truth, then how is it? If it is said to be karma, then it is establishing what is already established. What is to be expressed is "it is karma." The phrase "there is no realization" is a negation performed to negate the object of focus. From what does it arise? It starts with the phrase "by its own nature," that is, from the clinging to difference. The phrase "certain" is from habit. Showing that one wants to manifest external objects and also sees one's own nature is the phrase "I think it is me." Sukhavati means focusing on one's own awareness. To show that merely these conceptualizations that follow after not focusing on an object are not holding oneself as a witness, it is said, "faculties, etc." Those who are not sentient beings, because they have no power, infer the instigator of these, and say that it is the self, which is the meaning of the phrase "by what." If there is an instigator, then to show that things other than the faculties, etc., are not knowable by inferential knowledge, it is said, "otherwise, unknowing." To clarify what is indicated by "that itself," it is said, "the nature of mind." To show "its maker," it is said, "earlier and earlier." If someone says that the producer of the minds of the faculties, etc., is the knowable, that is "bliss-faculty," meaning that the faculty is not something other than the mind that has its form. After showing that other minds with forms arise from the mind itself, it is also shown that in the non-sequential there are also no knowable and knowing, because there is no mutual action, so it is said, "at the same time." To show that it is not the nature of knowledge, so it is not established, because it is the nature of appearance, it is said, "form, etc.," meaning that due to each person's different knowledge, the blue of its nature does not appear as one nature to the close one and the other. The explanation about the agent, etc., is "through those." Merely the remainder of the sound is also the knowledge without an object of focus. Therefore, in explaining "such a very excellent expression," the meaning is the external object, that is, the non-object of focus itself, because the sounds are not the cognition of the meaning, so after distinguishing the opposite categories, it is expressed from the perspective of wanting to manifest.

Now, to explain that this state of non-regression is called "the sound of reversal." Someone might say that the excluded reversal itself becomes something that needs to be proven, but this is not the case, because it itself is the realm that is desired to be manifested externally. This is "the scope of sound." Even the prover only wants to manifest, and it is not contradictory that the realm of direction itself has no object. The so-called "its cause" refers to the cause of the author, etc. The so-called "understander" refers to the author. The so-called "through it" refers to the action. The so-called "understood" refers to the essence. If there is no action, then there is no reason for the author, etc., because there is no proof, so there is no error from that direction. This is "if it is the cause." For its cause, there is no subsequent statement, because it is an object to be examined. This is "whatever exists." "You" refers to the Vaisheshika. "What needs to be proven" refers to the Buddhist. "Desire itself" means that because it has the particularity of wanting to understand, there is no error. Saying that the reason itself is flawed refers to "uncertainty," because universality has not been established. In connection with "therefore," the previous question is "one's own essence," meaning that if it is not established, then it has the particularity of wanting to understand. If it is not established for others either, then because it has no example, this itself is a defect, and following it, that is, following what needs to be proven, thereby indicating that it existed before. This is "at that time." Even if it is not established in the scriptures, it must be explained whether it is established by valid cognition. This is "my Dharma." If it is not established in this way, then it must also be explained that the Vaisheshika has nothing to prove. This is "if it is not so." The distinction of what is said is because it does not recognize what is expressed differently by the expresser. Only for sound and meaning, it is impossible to judge "this is sound, this is meaning, this is sound, this is meaning." Superficiality itself is sound and meaning. The so-called "through it" refers to the indicated "anything." No difference means different.
