The reason for saying "having growth" is referring to the wisdom that accomplishes everything. If one wants to be mistaken, is it because of that reason that everything would not exist as desired, or would there be faults such as incompleteness? This is its meaning. For things established through direct perception, this is also a valid means of cognition (pramana) because it is independent. When someone says this to others, it is because it is such a term that it is called a valid means of cognition, and it accomplishes the meaning. To those who say this, it is said, "This is different." 'Different' means from oneself. To explain the reason for assigning the term 'valid means of cognition' to a term that lacks an object, it means "from others." The mind that is the nature of the term is also what we perceive as an object. If one says this, it means "If that is its nature." To show that we also derive such a term from non-deception, and not just from the object, it is said, "Because of non-deception in that." It means that being in accordance with what is desired is non-deception, not the object. Even without an object, it is a mind with an object. Therefore, to explain that there are no aspects of knower and known here, to explain that there is no need for inference that follows the object, it is "only the absence of knowable things." Although there is no knowable, the knower is the only knower. To explain that whatever has the aspect of a knower is the aspect of a knower. If one says, 'If there is no knower, how can it be similar to it?' The answer is, "by confusion," meaning the knower that is imputed by the habitual patterns of beginningless confusion. Therefore, it means that it itself is a valid means of cognition. Therefore, the objects of direct perception, etc., exist only in external objects. To refute that, because of that reason, "They will harm the tenets." Or, to exclude "This is knowledge, or action and existence, etc., exist," it is said, "The one with an object is," meaning it is real. In times of happiness, isn't white, etc., the only object? To those who say this, it is said, "The nature of what should be obtained." What should be obtained is the object of entry, the object.

The other is not, because there is no entering into attainment. Appearance is realization, which is attainment itself. If it is not so, then "like that" means at the same time. And "again and again" means to grasp the meaning of knowledge such as "elephant". If you ask why, it is because of attainment. If you say that because it is not made an object, there is no difference, everything will change. Then, "the things of cause and effect" refers to this. Certainty after seeing the result or cause, when unfamiliar, relies on the power of its own cause to be so certain, the habit and familiarity of that cause will only produce certainty. Because it is other knowledge, it is only understanding one's own nature, and it is not the knowledge of attainment, because there is a meaning of entering, so it is said "is the victorious one". If you say "this form of knowable and knower does not exist", then it also indicates that before and after, and at that time there is no knowledge of the knower, there is no difference and so on. Or, "the last moment of the meaning of attainment is also the essence belonging to the time of recognizing the meaning, because there is no difference, so the doer exists", this shows "at the same time is also". The similarity of saying like this also exists in the knowledge of being awake. The characteristic of distinguishing is dreams, other valid cognitions, and others and so on. If you say, like this distinction, how do you know the form of non-knowable and so on? So it says "grasping" and so on. If you say "it is only deception", then here, for what has been established, that is the cause itself. If so, if you say that dreams and other attachments are only happiness, so it says "therefore". The attachments and so on are only conceptualizations, but there are also dreams and others and so on. If you ask why, so it says "only one's own nature". "Other" refers to dreams and so on. The previous projection is that habit and so on. From there refers to from conceptualization. Like that refers to from being awake and dreams and so on. That is like this from the conceptualization arising from the complete ripening of one's own seed, valid cognitions and so on arise.
