Also, the result of a similar cause is visible. If it is said that the Vipāka result is not visible, that is not the case, because there is no connection of words to that, therefore it is not a valid means of knowledge. As it is said: The nature of meaning is not a cause. Thus it is shown. If it is said that the speech of the all-knowing one is the cause of the nature of meaning, if it is known that it is excellent, it is possible to know this meaning, it is said that one aspect of the speech of a moment and mere consciousness is seen as true, and others also understand it as such, if it is said like that, it is not, because there is no connection. If smoke is seen as connected to fire, it indicates that it is near from being near to oneself, because of the connection. If it is said that in the world, even the words that do not deceive the main point are also seen as truly realized, if that is the case, from the term itself, the realization of that very nature will occur, therefore the Pramāṇavārttika and the scriptures will also become established and need to be proven. If it is said that on mere consciousness and so on, in order to establish the words of giving and so on as true, it is necessary to show the object that does not deceive, if that is the case, only this Blessed One will be harmful to others, or not even to others, because it is common with the Vedas and so on. It will be shown like this, for the object of direct perception, there is no need for treatises. For the meaning of direct perception, the instructions of others are not cherished, because others also have other treatises. For prostrating to stupas and so on, it is not its object, and it is also said for the purpose of showing that it is a place of self-offering, because it is possible, the scriptures and their commentaries are not needed at all, if you think like that, if the term itself is a valid means of knowledge, as an answer, it is said: Treatises are what dispel ignorance. As it is said, the meditation on mere consciousness and so on, and the meditation on its parts, is also true that it is desired to become a means of accomplishing liberation, it is the object of following and opposing direct perception. Just as eating myrobalan to accomplish a purgative, similarly, the speech of seeing that very nature

It becomes the object of others' minds, not anything else. If there are no words, merely saying "it is the object of valid cognition" does not make things abide in the minds of worldly people. Some others themselves do not act in that way, because those who use terms cannot do so for numbers and the like. If someone says that some have the ability to do so, if it were not so, then he would be the true Buddha, therefore this is a great being who is far superior to the world. Thus, pointing out with certainty is also to enable the inferior to understand properly, and the explanation is made for the purpose of proper attention. It is said in the scriptures that two conditions generate virtue, and two causes and two conditions also generate virtuous dharmas, that is, from the words of others, or from the inner self, proper attention. Among them, the words of others are the scriptures, and proper attention is that which has explanation. To this also: "Because seeing the meaning, it is not false, Because without afflictions, it is not contradictory, Because well-tuned, it is able to understand, Your words are good in the three times." This is a praise of the Buddha's words. Speech arising from generosity and a mind that turns away from harming, and its explanation, because it does not deceive the main subject of meaning, it is the true valid cognition, in order to show that it is the one who enters, therefore it is said: "The treatise dispels ignorance." Thus it is proclaimed. Therefore, as the characteristic of the commentary, it is indicated from "if the nature of valid cognition can be understood from terms" to "the treatise dispels this." Therefore, the treatise spoken by the omniscient one is only the scriptures, therefore "not from terms" means not only from terms. In order to ascertain the terms. This is a term with special characteristics, because it understands the one who fully touches Suchness. What is the difference in this? To this it is said: "Valid cognition is the knowledge of the non-deceiver." That is, direct perception and inference. The omniscient one similar to this
