It is. 'Also' is said to indicate visibility. 'That' is understood as the very cause of pervasiveness. Therefore, when everything arises from its own cause, it also arises from its own effect. To show that depending on this is a difference of cause, it is said, 'It is not at that time,' which is the same for both. 'Previous' and 'later' are not combined with the cause itself and the effect itself. To this, it is said, 'If it is previous,' if it is argued that there is a difference in combination, then it is said that this is very small. If blue is also seen as an effect or a cause, then how does yellow change? This will also become an object of contention. Or, from 'One is the previous nature,' etc., to 'There is no need at any time.' How much is needed? It is said, 'If something is missing, it will not arise,' meaning that if it exists, then arising is that if it exists, it exists, which is also the reason for the effect itself or the cause itself. To show that for a cause with difference, there are two reasons, so both exist, it is said, 'If the previous cause is missing,' it will undoubtedly arise, that is, it will certainly arise, the cause of which is the effect is the same. 'Because the reasons are the same, both also,' etc., with three verses to summarize the middle part. To show the necessity of realizing the effect itself from a cause with difference, it is said, 'The next world.' Inferring the effect from seeing the cause is not correct, because it is mistaken. Inferring only through possibility cannot determine the realization of a certain effect, because certainty itself is the meaning of inference. To approximately illustrate a cause with difference, it is said, 'When seeing it, for those seen,' etc., meaning that it is pointed out there and there. If it is said, 'If the knowledge that generates meaning is understood,' it is said, 'It exists itself,' to show that the discriminating consciousness with such a form is an expression of nomenclature.

The nature of pervasiveness, etc., is called this. Is the discriminating consciousness not direct because it follows the function of direct perception? If it is inference, then it will depend on grasping relations, etc. If it is that itself, then it will become mutually dependent. If it is other than inference, then it will become endless, and another valid cognition is impossible. Therefore, it is direct from itself, because by ascertaining the meaning that appears separately, it defines the object. If it depends on inference, then it is mutually dependent, because direct perception defines the object if there is inference. Therefore, what someone who thinks that a definition with signs and relations, etc., is inference says is, "If it is how much?" If, again, direct perception defines by its own nature, such as blue, but not by what is capable of acting or by something else, then distinguishing depends on inference alone. Therefore, what someone who thinks that your also is mutually dependent says is, "Rather, it should be known by inference." If the knowing that acts is direct, it depends on the previous one, and if that is on something other than that, is it not endless? Even if it is inference, it is similarly mutually dependent. The knowing that acts is called "..." The previous knowing defines as blue, and that is the end of that function, because there is no other function. The function of knowing is nothing other than defining the object. If the function of knowing is complete, then doubting the ability of knowing to act or other things, doubting the very occurrence even if it is meaningless, is not the function of valid cognition, but is established in itself. That doubt also turns away from seeing the difference of some action. Doubting what is far away turns away if it is near. Doubt arises from not experiencing the action, but from experiencing it. Whether it is inference or direct perception, it is
