Furthermore, the notion of 'momentariness' and so forth implies that there is no valid means to establish something as momentary. It does not mean that one accepts momentariness and then assumes that there is no essence of cause and effect. Whether something is permanent or non-existent, why wouldn't it perish at the very moment of its arising, according to the reasoning of 'without a cause'? Because there is no cause for its destruction. The statement 'because there is no cause for its destruction' implies that one thinks something is destroyed merely because it is not seen. Non-seeing is not the same as seeing, because it exists at other times as well. Therefore, 'what is perceived exists, and what is not perceived does not exist' means that when a cause ceases, an effect arises. It means that if a cause is not apparent, it will become an effect. Therefore, the cessation of a cause is different from the cause, and thus, the effect that arises at that time will become existent at the time of the cause, which is also to be refuted. Therefore, for momentariness itself, it is not possible to eliminate the imprints of the nature of the effects and causes of the preceding and subsequent moments. The meaning of obtaining the nature of non-existence as an effect depends on the cause, and at the time of depending on the cause, the existence of the cause is the cause itself, and not the time of the effect, because there is no dependence, that is what you think. Whatever is said about the apprehended and the apprehender being one, that is also, holding one is holding the aspect of two, for birth and death, etc., suitability and unsuitability themselves are holding, for other debaters who argue about existence and non-existence, etc., the answer is: through the difference in the parts of knowledge, and the difference in the preceding and subsequent knowledge, also approaching the apprehended and the apprehender themselves. If this is taken as the cause of pure wisdom, thinking that the apprehended and the apprehender are one, then, for the nature of oneness, where do you have an example?" Thus, closely stating the views of others, and definitely showing that there is the ability for this and no example, etc., this is also not in accordance with the tenets of the Yogacara school, because without a definite apprehended, there is no definite apprehender. The saying 'because there is no definite apprehended, there is no definite apprehender' means that the wisdom that is empty of the apprehended and the apprehender is the sole suchness.

Because it is the view of the earth. It is certain that it has an object. Blue and its mind are not different entities. This is called, emptiness by the difference of the aspects of the grasped and the grasper, is the suchness, because of focusing on the non-different place, this is its meaning. How is it said to be emptiness? Because we have not seen the difference of aspects, so whatever is the nature of the grasper and the grasped, whatever admits the difference, that is non-existent, this is its meaning. Therefore, only the experience, such as the blue earth, etc., returning from that, also because seeing the separation from its aspect, so establishing as non-different entity, this contradicts the direct perception. If the connection with what is to be established is not seen, because it follows the establisher, and enters the inference, so the inference depends on the direct perception that holds the equal, therefore, this contradicts it, the direct perception is not like that. If it itself immediately determines the nature of the meaning, it does not distinguish on its own object, if anyone doubts the accomplishment of that path, it will depend on the inference. So what is it? Only from the nature of appearing separately. This is called blue, it is not doubting the separate appearance. Moreover, how to make the very certain mind, such as saying it is a pillar or a wall, etc., become inverted, this is what is said. For the first one, it is answered by a good observation. From where, the experience of all sentient beings appears as the nature to be experienced? Therefore: For the body of a woman, the ascetic and the lustful dog, the corpse and the desired food, three different discriminations arise. It is not by the power of the habit of determining all aspects of things, that holds all meanings of all things. Similarly: Stars, planets, Dharma numbers, etc. Holding these and other differences of signs, having the means of sound differences, and also the shape and place of birth, also with the signs of decrease and increase and the nature of the two things, combining according to the intention to express, thus holding the certain, not everything holds everything. Therefore, the nature of such certainty
