This is because it is too excessive. If the ultimate of contact is transformation, then, is the seen difference the nature of contact? Or, is it the nature related to it, because it is non-deceptive, so it is not different. If it is different from it, then, it is not a valid cognition, but is indicated by "valid cognition is non-deceptive." Now, this should also be analyzed as "is it to oneself or to others," because the valid cognition that depends on arising has already been analyzed. If non-deception itself is realization, then, it is what produces its own result, and, if its knowledge is not produced from itself, then, it depends on others, this is also indicated by "valid cognition is non-deceptive," what is left now? "From where does one truly realize oneself from oneself" and so on, thinking like this. The nature of self-cognizant knowledge is valid cognition, therefore, knowing from oneself is itself it, thus realizing. Saying "is one's own nature" is unreasonable, because this contradicts "valid cognition is non-deceptive" establishing valid cognition itself from others. Therefore, this indicates the nature of valid cognition itself, and "knowing from others" is that from convention it is valid cognition itself, determined by the nature of function. Even so, "by one's own nature" is, the expression of saying knowing from oneself is wrong. Relative to realization, saying oneself, relative to determination, saying one is not contradictory. Even so, merely saying "from others" realizes one's own nature, therefore, for that purpose, the phrase "valid cognition is non-deceptive" becomes redundant, when thinking like this, "from oneself realizing by one's own nature" and so on, because the doubt of other meanings arises first, saying: if this knowledge can be obtained and so on, from perception and inference, there is no other valid cognition, until here, because not realizing these two valid cognitions, so it is not the valid cognition of ultimate truth, when thinking like this, the answer is: what is said here and so on. Just as from what is seen it is established as itself, therefore admitting that itself is not the ultimate truth.

Because nominalists should not transcend it. Therefore, in order to show that the knowledge of the non-deceiver or the other party is not recognized only when self-awareness arises, it starts from "by the direct perception of self-awareness" and so on, to "it will not become doubt". Similarly, the characteristic of being harmless is also said to come from oneself, so it starts from "or the characteristic of being harmless" and so on, to "there is no other valid cognition". The knowledge understood through meaning refers to the knowledge that recognizes that there is no other reasonable knowledge for the completely determined meaning, which means recognizing that it has become valid cognition itself. Just as one knows through valid cognition itself, things also come only from oneself, so it is said, "Moreover, consciousness arises from a cause." "From oneself" means that it comes only from the cause of the nature of knowledge itself. With this intention, it is said, "If valid cognition is from oneself." It means that just like the knowledge of the nature of the senses and so on, one should also do this for valid cognition itself. Or, because it is the nature of permanence, it comes from oneself, not from a cause. With this thought, it is also said, "If self-awareness is self-nature," etc., to "it will not become other." It means that due to the influence of the faults of the cause, permanence will not become other. Because it is a sense that acts together with faults, the aspect of changing with the following and reversing, is not the dharma of valid cognition itself, and because it is not permanent, even if the nature of the changing knowledge is permanent, there is no contradiction, so it is said, "If the fault has a cause." In order to show that from the difference of following and reversing, valid cognition itself will also become made by merit, it is said, "Connected with the cause of having merit." From the action of merits, the absence of fault itself and being established in other aspects are following and reversing, so it is said, "If because there is no fault." Fault
