To assume the ability to hold that object is wrong, because it is the function of discrimination that can enter into both. However, it is not seeing, because the object to be examined is not the nature of an object, and because there is no following, etc. Even in habituation, it only holds the present part, so how can it appear as one with the previous seeing? Because it is the object of habituation, what is habituated is also that. Habituation is the previous consciousness, which is said to see that object as seeing it. If one is habituated to another and says one sees another, it is unreasonable. If what was seen before has ceased, then does what is seen also cease? It is the cessation of that at that time. What is the present object like? And how is it not mistaken? Because it is not without things, because realization is established, and because there is no harm, it is said that because it is not without things, it is not without error. Because it is not without error, it is also not without that. If one is one, then what is the possessor of the object of the present, that seeing? If one is habituated to that, then like the consciousness of a yogi, there is no contradiction in seeing the objects of the past, etc. The consciousness of a yogi holds the object to be measured as it is, and seeing is also discrimination, so there is no difference. Discrimination is also not inference, because it is not born from a sign. That itself is the agent of its function, which is the object to be measured because it is established by seeing its own nature. No, because holding its own nature is discrimination, and if that is also the object to be measured, it becomes infinite. If it is that because it is similar to that? No, if one does not hold that, then one does not hold what is similar to that. Holding a sign, then what is born from a sign is established, and because it is not born from the senses, it is also not perception, because the senses are not sentient, the previous is not memory, and it is not a combiner. A person holds what is close in this way, because he is sentient, which is said to be discrimination born from self. Does that also abide in me, know?

Here it is called the cognizer. Memory is also capable and has connections, etc. Thus it is said. It is because it arises from the imprints of seeing the former and the latter. Whether it is born from self or just mind, it is not entirely the case, like the knowledge of a yogi or like subsequent inference, because it does not deceive by the way it enters, and also because only some are valid cognitions, so what is seen elsewhere should be distinguished elsewhere. What is the imagination of non-existence like? Because the objects of sight of the former and latter sights are considered to be the same, there is no fault. How does one imagine seeing the same thing? Because what is not seen is also to be imagined like a fruit, it is what is seen. Therefore, only these become the difference of the object of sight, but the other is not, if there is no difference for the distinction, then for habit, like the fruit itself, the object of sight is also not different. If it is said that its fruit itself appears because it is near, then its non-difference is also not different because it is near. If it is said that it is not near, then it is the same for its fruit itself. The fruit itself is near. Non-difference is also the same, so there is no difference. Even if it is habit, if what is seen does not hold it, then those who seek its meaning will not enter, because the distinction does not hold it either. If this is the case, even if it does not hold it, it is unreasonable to enter like a subsequent inference, because subsequent inference enters from certainty about it, and the holder and the certain are the limbs of entering the object. For non-habit, neither of these exists, so it will not enter. Therefore, if it is habit, then what is seen holds it, because it is the cause of entering. Not a subsequent statement, because it does not hold it now. The existence of the present itself is not recognized by the previous mind. When thinking, it is said that that will also appear, how the previous sight was, the present sight is not like that, and similarly for habit
