is the order. The answer is, because whatever is said with "that is existence," at that time, because it itself has not been completed, it cannot be understood as it is. Because the meaning of the language of the object to be proven later is not existent in the nature of the special quality to be completed, therefore it is to be proven later. If it is said that it exists in the general nature, therefore it is understanding, then it is "its understanding is truly established." There, the definite connection that is said is, between "is" and "to be," what is to be proven later is what is to be proven later, the meaning of the language of the object is said in this way. If the nature of the special quality is later, if understanding the pot, then the cloth is not to be proven later. If it is thought that the special is not a general error, that is how it is, that is not right. Just like the general of the lord and the independent, etc., this is also because the special is wrong. The general is not to be proven later, because its special has been understood, and that is also to be proven later, but the general is not, because it has been established. Therefore, it is said, "its own nature." If the nature of the special quality is not completed by the meaning of the language to be proven later, etc., then understanding is not entering. Even so, it enters the special from understanding its general. Just like entering the branches of a tree, etc., from understanding the tree. It is said, "merely understanding as it is," even if it is understood, if there is no understanding of the special, then because of its this connection, why wouldn't the three realms change? That is the meaning. Or it is thought that because the special is not a general error, it is abandoned by it and enters. If you think of this, it is said, "if it is to be proven as a substance." The special is abandoned by the general, and only what is abandoned by the general is the subsequent inference, that is the meaning. Just like the general of the lord and the independent, etc., the general is not the abandoner of the special, because it is wrong, this is what is shown. General

It is called "If it is a lineage." Doesn't the meaning of "make offerings" necessarily imply that understanding the determination of offerings is the determination of offerings? Reason does not harm this, because it is said in the words of the Vedas, "The knowledge of things is direct perception." Subsequent inference is reason, but inference that contradicts direct perception is not a valid means of knowledge. Those who say this are, "If burnt offerings, etc." Understanding is not direct perception, because things are not situated nearby, and the things that will arise are not present at the time of this knowledge, because being situated nearby is turning away from the opposite side, and also manifesting oneself as pervasive makes it turn away, therefore not being situated nearby is contrary to manifestation. Being situated nearby is being present, and that itself is also manifestation. The object of focus is existence itself, and the very possibility of things is the characteristic, which will be explained as follows: only what is to be manifested is a thing, but the manifester is not, because the difference is not understood. If it exists, the thing exists, because in reality it is just that. If the thing does not exist, it also does not exist, then how does one understand the meaning of the Vedas? The intention is that if understanding does not exist, then the two verses beginning with "there." How do we know that manifesting one's own nature does not come from not being situated nearby? The answer is, "What is one's own nature?" This has been said. Manifesting what is not hidden is direct perception, and that is also the meaning of having a nearby object. It is shown that not being situated nearby is also not true, therefore it is not a manifester, but is hidden, saying "for what has no nature." Merely understanding is existence, merely not understanding is non-existence, the object of focus is existence itself, and the very possibility of things is the characteristic, which shows that it is expressed by this, because "because the object of focus exists, therefore." Only what is being manifested is not existent,
