No. Because if fire is recognized only by the fruit, then it is not a means of recognizing what is not a fruit, nor is it without end. Action, memory, or enjoyment, if the rememberer, the non-enjoyer, has no basis, will it not fail to arise? The thought that arising is because it depends on the one who causes arising. It is said, "Someone who remembers." If there is no difference between one's own and others' experiences and actions, that is not the case, by what difference would it become memory and enjoyment? Because there is a difference between the fruit and the cause itself, and the other itself. The other itself also does not hinder the memory arising from habit, although it is the same, it shows that it will not arise without it. If by another, it means that the experience, the other itself, also depends on memory, because it exists in me, so "by another" is the difference. Just as one remembers without difference by one's own and others' experiences themselves, or by the other itself, so too it will become without difference from oneself. For each person, the oneness of the selves is without difference. Because there is a difference in the nature of the experiencer and the rememberer, therefore, determining the experiencer from the determination of memory, for the Vaisheshikas, it is reasonable because the reason is determined, but not for those who assert a self, because they accept it as permanent. It is shown that permanence itself is pervaded by non-distinction that contradicts distinction due to the absence of a cause itself. It is called "different in mind." For the objects focused on in the previous day, in the later day, I will see this self, thus linking the sameness of the rememberers of the seer, even if they have not seen it, they will think so, it is called "seen by me." Indeed, if there is one self, because it cannot be seen in that way, it shows that it is not preceded and linked by seeing. It is called "also for these faults." For this, it refers to one. The arising of pramana means there is seeing. Because there is a self itself, it is not possible to know it that way even if one has not seen it. This also, the measurables are all under the power of pramana.
