Therefore, how is it shown that one with discrimination should strive for this? All reversal is the reversal of the basis of attachment to experience, qualities, and nature. In the state of liberation, how does one desire what is reversed? That is, how does attachment become one's own? How does that attachment become one's own? If there is no cause for attachment, how does one become attached? This is the meaning to be expressed. The object of attachment is like this, and how does one hope that it is like others? This is the meaning to be expressed. Stones, cotton cloth, and so on, have the nature of pervading space. Whatever one's own nature is, that is oneself. In terms of language, everything is to be abandoned and acquired, and so on. Transcending those is turning away from the object of attachment. This is the meaning to be expressed. Like that, it is turning away from the previous nature. For the nature of liberation, the entry of one with discrimination becomes an obstacle, because one does not strive. This is the meaning to be expressed. Combine it with "Attachment to self will manifest." In the state of liberation, shouldn't self become non-existent like space? Because it is the object of self-knowledge. The relationship of these selves and my these, or the very non-commonness, is bondage, that is, saying self and mine. That is not present in liberation. When one thinks like this, it is "in all aspects." This awareness of "I am" is also just the absence of that. Sleeping without dreaming is an example of liberation. Even so, the aspect of viewing self as "I am," the aspect of relationship or the aspect of non-commonness with that, clinging to self is completely the essence of the nature of clinging. Therefore, for mine or non-common, or non-common, it also leads to attachment, because without that, oneself does not exist. This is what I said. The author of the commentary is merely clarifying. If one completely abandons clinging to self, there is no limb of entry. Because if that exists, one fabricates suffering that is the same before and after, and then enters, and so on. In an instant, becoming the nature of awareness.

The indication that wisdom is not the only branch of entry is: If there are two verses here called "Grasping at Self." Even without grasping at self, one acts for the benefit of others. Indicating that speaking of self is meaningless is called "Divided by Others." What is called "Long-lasting Bliss" is that merely liking Nirvana, my own nature is always clear. Its fruit itself completely abandons impermanent happiness. What is called "Also Non-existent" is: Because of the commonality of doubting existence and non-existence, entering into the side of non-existence is also possible. The momentary appearing object is merely connected with "the moon in the monkey's paw." Therefore, similarly, one who has a view of self, even though striving to reverse the accumulation of my obstacles, because seeing the part of merit, obscures seeing it as a fault, therefore it is indicated that it is only impossible to find. What is called "Even Striving" is: Even though striving to be free from attachment, it is creating obstacles to being free from attachment. Why? Because relying on the part of merit, one has the ability to enter into anything. If one thinks that I am also the nature of the creator of happiness and suffering, and the nature of the enjoyer of its fruit, is also the object of being free from attachment, therefore it should be completely abandoned, then it is called "If to Me Also." Indicating that by whatever nature I should be abandoned, that is precisely the nature of this, because it is not another nature, so I should not be accepted. What is called "Now Is" is: How in any way abandoning me, is making me become what should be abandoned. What is called "That Is" is the speaker. For what should be accepted, there is no other way of being free from attachment. Because of that reason, it is meaningless to indicate that one should meditate on suffering. The author of the commentary explains with "How it exists, it is not like that," etc. The meaning is that, like myself, one abandons oneself. If one asks what is abandoned, the answer is that only attachment is abandoned. What is called "Is." Being free from attachment is being without attachment, because the word "free from" has a negative meaning. Indicating that being free from attachment to self is the bliss of liberation, but it is impossible to exist in the presence of grasping at self. What is called "Dwelling in Bliss" is.
