The term "is" refers to the lack of explanation regarding the reason inherent in consciousness itself. If someone asks, "How are these two opposite reasons understood?" For the opposite situation, i.e., for the opposite reason, because it relies on harmful causes and conditions, it is unstable, i.e., not self-nature, which means not the essence. An example of not being self-nature is like the illusion of a snake. Because it is rootless, this means that it does not explain the place of origin produced by itself. If one clings to self and so on, because it is not self-nature, there is no producer, therefore only non-arising will change. If someone says this: for example, the illusion of a snake on a rope. The so-called "for this" is said to the opponent, and it is the answer explained from another aspect. Because it focuses on existence, such as the so-called impermanence itself, therefore focusing on existence is created by beginningless ignorance, thus explaining the cause of inner illusion. Like this is the seen existence. The doubt about it refers to through it deception, explaining that the cause of that path lies in the object, which is the so-called "similarity." The word "or" means "and." I say that at the moment when it is seen without closing the eyes, being deceived by other similarities, it cannot be determined that it is impermanence itself. After that moment, just like seeing the signs of long-term survival now, because it focuses on existence, so focusing on existence, through it, that is, doubting its existence is possible, this is inference, and it is deceived by it. Because existence itself focuses on the present, it is impossible to become other, therefore it has also happened before, therefore it is deceived by inferring its existence. The so-called "constant" means that it is the same before and after. Focusing on existence, that is, focusing on the present, makes it possible to become the cause or the result itself, therefore it cannot be determined that it is impermanence itself. The commentator explains that when the previously seen object is not seen in between, but appears again, because existence in the middle is possible, therefore it explains that it cannot be determined that it is impermanence itself, which is the so-called "when it lasts for how long." For the nominalists, aren't there different appearances that appear separately? It is true that there are, but

It is unreasonable to consider conventional truths as supreme, because there is no need, as shown here. It is said, "conventional truths," etc., which indicates that because one is satisfied with things that can function, it is unreasonable to consider the differences that appear separately as supreme, because this is the cause of not truly representing reality. Showing that the occurrence of similarity in other things is also a cause, it is said, "other similarity," etc. In similarity itself, the example of the reason for clinging to something as one is twins. Regarding "observing from existence," etc., it is also shown that the occurrence of similarity in other things does not exist, as it is said, "in the previous." Showing the difference of wanting no other similarity, it is said, "other and other," etc. Showing the occurrence of other similarity with other intentions, it is said, "or it is that fire," etc., meaning that it is inferred by following what is seen. Regarding taking grass and other things, thinking about where fire and other things arise from, it is said, "from different kinds." Showing that relying on these two intentions, being deceived by the occurrence of other similarity has been investigated, it is said, "therefore," etc. Or, regarding "not that which does not exist," etc., decay and constant uninterrupted observation are also differences in observing existence. Observation is, if one does not observe uninterruptedly, then at any time one observes. "Regarding similarity," etc., one should observe, as it is shown, "at any time in between," etc. Because wisdom is not a measure, it harms what arises merely from the habits of discrimination because of seeing continuous cessation. Is it merely observing things that can function? Or, even if other similarity occurs, it is not the cause of not truly representing reality. What is it then? It is closely summarized as the actions of beginningless ignorance, as it is said, "therefore, internal," etc. Is clinging to self not merely self-nature? Because the mind itself does not differentiate objects and time, it is thought that it is inconsistent with the nature of the aggregates of self or others. For this thought, it is said, "this mind," etc., which is separate from the previous and the subsequent. From where? This
