Because it has been clearly distinguished. The object of knowledge of time is not other objects. For example, the difference in shape, such as the shape recognized by a vase, etc., to explain this principle, time is long. Indeed, the difference in objects can only become the object of such recognition from such symbols, and what makes it become like that is time. If you think like this, it means "if time does not exist." The producer of the difference of slowness, etc., possessed by the fruit, is itself the producer of its own nature. Therefore, time itself is the cause of things, not the things themselves. That is not its result, that is to say, what is not caused by the distinction of what, this is what is said, "however, the fruit." Constant and pervasive time is irreversible, because it has not abandoned closeness, which means "time is not non-existent." Thinking that impermanent and non-pervasive time is revealed by the power of conditions, and thinking in this direction, is "however, time." Only from what is the order of time, only from that is the order of fruit, but to explain that it does not come from the time of the order dominated by others, is "however, from that itself," because it has its own order, so this is not what it does itself. Isn't the simultaneous action of things just simultaneous? What is not close is not simultaneous, and that is not just a thing. Even if it is not close, things that exist simultaneously still exist, so it will fall into order. Therefore, this is to explain that not being in order is also too excessive. If you think like this, "order itself is time," which is close to explaining that it is not order itself. No, order is simultaneous and non-simultaneous. For simultaneous, it is not focused on non-simultaneous, but focused on other simultaneous, because for the distinction of things, the distinction of states is the reason. What is called different from one's own nature means that it is different from one's own nature distinguished by the distinction of states.

Now, considering how to distinguish within the three times. If there is a connection with present things and actions, then it is the present; if it is with the past, then it is the past itself; and if it is with the future, then it is the future itself. This indicates the meaning of 'becoming visible.' If there is no time, then saying 'how can it be visible,' etc., is unreasonable. 'That which has become an object, when it has not become an object, is the past,' etc., refers to recognizing the individual essence of each thing. If this is not acknowledged, then how can someone who speaks of time, without understanding the clear distinctions, speak? At what time do you, villages, etc., arise, and does the self-nature of villages, etc., exist in comfort or discomfort? This belongs to the realm of worldly inquiry, not a distinction. This indicates the meaning of 'what time.' 'Inquiring' refers to the object of inquiry. For yogis, everything is merely appearing, so there is no distinction of past, etc. How do they recognize it? Starting 'from others,' that is, yogis through their own witnessing. 'The distinction exists in dependence on this' does not mean that merely what is seen is the cause of the name 'present.' Therefore, for us ordinary people, the distinction of past, etc., is relative to the yogis, not to themselves. This shows that, because of not being obscured, things appear in their own nature and also transform into past, etc. And the present, etc., are distinctions of time. Knowledge and its object of cognition also transform for the yogi himself. This indicates the meaning of 'Moreover, in connection with that time.' If the present, etc., appear in their own nature, then how is the past distinguished from the other? Considering this, the present mind of us ordinary people and yogis becomes an object due to the power of its own cause, not an appearance. Therefore, to explain this, the question 'Then, how is this?' is posed. The phrase 'Because of not grasping' should be connected with the word 'appearance.' If one sees now
