La'o. What can be done to a fruit that causes harm? If that is done, what can others do to it? Phenomena such as the continuous burning of wood, etc., it is impossible to find something other than the burning, etc. Therefore, only harming the fruit is the real harm. That is to say: The fruit of the previous consciousness, the subsequent severance is the harmer, destroying the fruit is the harmer, it is so, and not other special circumstances. It is said. Also, seizing the object is not harm, because it cannot be done. It is also said: Past things, from the object, cutting off itself is impossible. The thief took the property, who can take it from that? It is said. Also, the determination of the object is the reason for entering, if there is no harm to the reason, how can it cause harm to it? Because it is possible to recognize that there is no past object, so seizing the object itself is harm, and not others, this is revealed through "awake consciousness." Because the difference is not seen, the knowledge of silver arises from the fish bladder. What harms it is the one who clings to the difference. That is to say, the consciousness of the fish bladder, and also the one who follows its actions later, this is not, this is the order of consciousness of worldly names, so it is not what the heretics say, this is shown by revealing. What does the word harm mean? If it is possible to seize the object, then that is the harmer. For this, if it is said that there is no other object, then the meaning is: the consciousness of the fish bladder enters in order to cling to the self-nature of its own object, and not to do other things. If it is said that completely cutting it off, and distinguishing it from that is wisdom, then, because all consciousness is like that, everything will become a harmer, and it will be explained that way. Therefore, the harm done and the harmer themselves in the ultimate truth do not exist, because they do not exist, therefore, the non-harmer itself does not exist either, through this, it is clearly shown that pervasiveness is extremely vast. If it is said that meeting with desire is approaching union itself, so it is harm.

Even if it has been definitely acknowledged that there is no obstruction, if it is said that it is abiding, that is, unmoving, then this shows that "this is not the acting thing is permanent." Just not being harmed in itself is impossible because it has no end, which shows that "just not being harmed." However, if there is no harm, then is it not a branch of entering into the measure that produces certainty in meaning? To this, when there is doubt of exclusion, another knowledge that holds the meaning contrary to the former is a measure. To this, if there is still doubt, then from the meaning held by the intermediate knowledge, the third knowledge that holds the opposite meaning itself determines that the former is a measure, so it is not necessary to seek other knowledge just for the sake of speaking words. That is, "Thus, the knowing consciousness, all three are not clear, therefore, whether harm arises or not, do not doubt whether there is harm or not." It is said. For things that are harmful, because they also appear to be harmful, so "do not doubt whether there is harm." Why is this said? Because what one has doubt about, that depends on other knowledge, but for what has not arisen, it is not necessary to force it to arise. Others say that it must also be forced to arise, that is only seeing other knowledge that contradicts the three or four knowledges that are arising, similarly, it will also change here, because it is seen as it is. For those who have not arisen, there is also harm, what is the ignorance of searching? Then for all the words, the nature of doubt will be exhausted and disappear. It is said, and "The sons of Kunti and others doubt, whether there is or is not this world and the other world, those who have the nature of doubt, are rebuked by the all-pervading god." It is said. One's own nature by one's own knowledge
