If so, consciousness would also become causeless. Similarly, it has been shown that the difference of transformation will not arise if there is no difference in the body. For example, "even if there is no difference in transformation," etc., if there is a difference in transformation, then roughness and the other side will be seen. Similarly, even if there is no difference in the body, wouldn't there be a transformation? If you think so, that is the meaning of "if milk, etc." If two portions of milk are placed at the same time and heated to the same temperature with snow, then the transformation will be the same. However, even if two bodies exist at the same time, etc., the transformation of consciousness will not be the same, because other consciousnesses with different natures will be seen. To illustrate that this is an unequal example, the statement from "milk is the same," etc., to "the same" is a whole. "The body itself" should be regarded as "transformation." If the body is not the cause of the transformation of consciousness, then what is the cause? To this question, it should be answered that for the same and different bodies, the habitual tendencies of conformity are the cause. Therefore, if the existing cause is its difference, then it can be approximately summarized as only the difference of the result, that is, the result of its collection itself, that is, the existing result itself, existing in excellence and decline. If it is not so, then it means that if it is each individual's ability, then many will arise simultaneously. If so, then from what cause will consciousness arise gradually? If you think so, that is the meaning of "what." The cause is that consciousness is one, and because there is no distinction between its collection and its individual forms, there is no fault in the aspect of its arising. This one is also the cause of one, and the consciousness that arises at other times is not its product. Because from the moment it exists, it only arises in the first moment, the only one existing in one moment cannot have the ability for many, because it is not recognized by following and opposing.

It is for this reason. If a single cause produces a single effect, then the existence of that cause is beyond doubt, therefore, because it did not exist before, it will always be interrupted. What is this? Are you refuting with your eyes closed? Because the consciousness of the effect is not produced from other capable causes, and in this case, this is not its effect, because there is no cause. Therefore, how is it shown that if it did not exist before, then when it arises, it arises from that, so how is it always interrupted? This is what is said: Because the power of consciousness is definite. That is to say, a single moment of consciousness is only capable of producing a single consciousness, and it is understood that things that follow and things that are opposite. It is certain that it is not the producer of other things. The explanation is that, like fire and so on, by recognizing that other effects are unreasonable, by ability, only the consciousness of the habit that follows is seen, this is what is said: Because the power is definite. The second characteristic of power is: the particularity of attachment. That is, it is only seen as an obstacle to the arising of other consciousnesses. Explaining habit and what follows is: habit is stable. The only thing is that sleep and so on cause the mind stream to be interrupted. At that time, only conceptual thought awakens, not the others. The particularity of attachment or the certainty of existence, this is the explanation of this object: Seeing the similarity of blue, the immediate cause is: the habit that follows awakens, producing the conceptual thought of blue, because it is attached to it, so it arises from it. The only thing is, this is considered to be experienced: like this. The immediate cause or the awakening that follows, this is its behavior: the immediate cause, that is, proximity, seeing blue is the particularity of attachment because blue is close to conceptual thought. Interruption is obstacles, etc., this explains it: The habits that interrupt consciousness are those conceptual thoughts. Because other knowable things arise from the context, they arise from conceptual thought. How is it known? The object of attachment is
