To criticize the assertion that earth-born breathing, etc., are multiple entities, and to show that even the assertion that it is a single entity becomes a fault pointing to another second party is: Even if it is a single entity, the cause of power is dependent on its own effect, therefore it is pervasive, because its pervasive object is to bring the effect closer. Even if it exists, if it does not exist, then it is not a pervasive object, therefore, just as the tree itself is always close to the sap of the tree, this shows that at the time of the first fruit, the author of the second, etc., is close. That which is always close is not not close at that time. However, because it is the dharma of the cause, or from other aspects, at that time of the effect, it is not making other effects, and if it is like that, it will not be pervasive at other times, therefore it is thought that it will not arise, if it is not the cause of multiple entities, that is what is said. The words breathing, etc., refer to the body. The cause of power is that the effect exists because of its own existence, because it is pervasive, this is shown by saying that the cause is close as well. Indeed, the nature of producing the effect is dependent on co-action, not solely, and it is not becoming the nature of this, or making others excellent. So what is it? Thinking that it is the effect is saying other and other. Because it is the nature of acting dependent on others. Just as relying on Arura to cause purging, this is not something that rational people should listen to. The nature of the effect is only dependent, because others have not recognized that it is its effect. Those who awaken are also not the cause of the mind, just like breathing, etc., because it arises even without it, this is shown by saying that the condition that awakens is also like that. If it is like that, then where is its certainty? The former creator is mentioned. If the creator recognizes that it is not confused with the effect, then it is not the power of breathing, etc., this is shown by saying therefore if. Breathing, etc., are a single entity.

This phrase "it is certain" should be connected with this phrase "it is certain." Others accept that exhalation and so on are one, and then show that it is unreasonable. Now it is shown that what is said is contrary to realization, that is, "one is reasonable is not," because in the time of one exhalation, it is also seen that many things that are not understood arise simultaneously, so it is not necessarily produced from that exhalation. However, wherever one goes, when only remembering where one is going, seeing the tree in front, smelling its flower fragrance, tasting the taste of toothpaste, etc., and touching the hard things, wind, etc., for these are not realized in sequence, but even if realized simultaneously, they are not confused, because there is no harm. Sometimes, sequential realization, for the certainty of realization, is not an illusion that appears to be simultaneous, because it is only that delay, and other sequences, and others are also good. In the time of one exhalation, the thought that arises simultaneously, is it not the nature of not clinging to things? Thinking in the heart, is it not many? Therefore it is said: "If one thought knows many." Because there is no form, no near and far hidden, so just like clinging to those alone, all things will be clung to. If it is said that producing or approaching is not a definite cause, then it is said "no contradiction." Producing is obtaining the nature of knowledge, and the certainty of action, or approaching, or the root, is also possible, for clinging to the object is certain, because clinging is uncertain, because it is accepted as one. Wanting to cling is also not certain, because it is different, and not the producer, and so on. That is also not within the category of knowledge. Therefore, because there is no contradiction, because it is not inconsistent, all consciousnesses will arise. When a thought that does not follow also arises at the same time, it is not clinging to everything, nor is it sequentially clinging to this and that object, because it does not
