It is blocked by it, and if that is its realization, merely the occurrence of habit itself is clear as beginningless. In order to correctly show other reasons for the establishment of the afterlife, it is said, "This is merely conceptualization." If it arises only from habit, then just as the mind conceptualizes kingship, wouldn't it become uncertain? If you think like this, then showing that the reason for determining the object lies in the basis, etc., itself is "for those that perish in each moment." If the cause itself is the basis, then showing that the conceptualization in that object will become the object of things is "those of the former and the latter," and clinging to them as one is done by beginningless habit, which is its meaning. If it is the basis of that time itself, because it is real, like other consciousnesses that grasp it, it is not because it arises from habit. Therefore, merely the nature of the cause itself will not make the afterlife established. Indeed, clinging to the nature of the cause as the basis itself, because at that time it is also considered a cause for what is not a cause, it is eliminating the power of habit. In this way, it is shown that the afterlife is established, which is "all mental conceptualizations." Isn't conceptualization a object with an appearance? If it is thought that only a special aspect is the object, then it is "from many things themselves," clinging to the appearance of memory and the appearance of seeing as one is not merely from experience, because memory and experience are different, which is its meaning. If, for one thing, memory and experience themselves are not many, because they are not connected. Just as the conceptualization of connected habits is the previous one, and from there the previous object is other, and for that object it will not become connected, if you say so, then showing that it will become like that is "one that has never been seen before." For the appearance seen in one lifetime itself, because it is connected, it is only for that to generate habit, and for other lifetimes it will generate

Considering how it could be beginningless since it is not, if the first birth sees, and the second birth also sees, then the subsequent connection, if there is no habituation arising from the previous life, it will not arise, this is to explain this point, so it says that in other lives as well. Although I say that it follows before and after, but if it were so, it would not be, because the things that can be connected depend on experience, memory, and their fabrications. It is also not right to think that it is established by relying on its cause, just because the previous and subsequent are experienced as the same, because it arises only from that, this is to explain this point, so it says "in the same way." The cause with aggregation does not destroy merit, meaning: if like "how is the goer" etc., up to "is destruction," for doubt, how does the thing with the nature of arising from cause or attainment destroy? It is not reasonable to destroy by cause or reason in the second moment, because that is not seen. Therefore, in order to explain that in the second moment, the thing is non-existent because it has no cause, so the cause is the cause of generating merit in each moment, this is established, so it says "the goer etc." Where it is the goer etc., it abides there, so it is the support, and without that, each moment is the generator, this is its meaning. How, by the power of the cause, what arises together with the object that is fabricated, is the support, and not the others, similarly, for those who have discriminating knowledge, just that kind of arising is aggregation, because it is recognized as if it were rubbed, so it is not just some others, just that arising is not the author himself or the fruit itself, nor the others, that arising is reversed by the power of the cause, so in order to explain that it will not become others, it says "by this is the meeting aggregation." In the commentary it says: Although existence is not the cause itself, but existing there or having aggregation, it also becomes that itself, but not becoming that or others. The cause with aggregation is spoken in relation to impermanence. Existence itself is
