This assertion is not established. In any case, if the mind has excellence and decline, then their excellence and decline will be obtained. Similarly, if they have excellence and decline, the mind will not obtain them. If there is no mind, even if there is breath and so on, it should be established in the manner of "from where does it come?", that even the nature of what is born from the mind is its agent even without the mind. Through the perspective of the agent, it should also be explained that even at that time, it exists. Therefore, just like breath and so on, which are born from the mind, the mind is not understood as their generator, because this is the difference of not being their generator. Therefore, the assertion that "it is not it" is established. If breath and so on are the mind, then the difference between the excellence of the mind and the generator is that breath and so on are not its generator, and if there is no generator of it, then from where does it arise? Because they are not its generator. The generator is not the excellence of the generator, and similarly, because breath and so on are so, it is not breath and so on, because it is a follower of the dharma of the generator. Or, they are not at all the generator of the mind, and the difference of the generator of the mind is a harmful increase, the first half has explained, and the second half argues that if the mind is the generator of breath and so on, then the mind will become the difference of its generator like breath and so on. Because it does not exist, it is established that "it is not it." How are breath and so on born from the mind? If it is thought that they do not exist in dreams and so on, then for this, because it is seen that they are also the difference of the fruit of the mind, it is explained that it is inferred accordingly, and even if one's own nature does not exist, its existence is known through the perspective of the agent. That is: Wind born leader. It means that if the mind has excellence and decline, then from where does the breath and so on have no excellence and decline?
