So, just as the unconfused one knows what will happen in an unconfused way, in order to equally show that the unconfused state itself understands, therefore it is called "will also happen." Unlike the unconfused one, is it not possible to understand this unconfused state itself? Just because of these, it is thought that the previously arisen continuum itself is the cause of the world, the thought about this is: In order to show that only the unconfused state itself is the cause, and not the previously arisen, it is said "something by something," meaning that only those are worldly people. Is not the reason the unconfused state itself? Moreover, it is also understood that the previous distinction was made in the seventh way, and the result related to this is only what arises later, the thought about this is: However, if this exists, this will arise, this is what is said from "from then on is also shown" to the end. The seventh is only the reason, is it not the previous distinction? Because it is said to the reason, the author, and the cause. Understanding as the reason in the seventh way, is it not fabricating the previous? Because the difference is not noticed. The statement about this is: "Its following and returning." It means that if the existing things do not arise, it is impossible to be the reason, and if that is the case, then it is the previous. If the existing and arising things are abandoned, then it is not another reason. If that is the case, in order to show that the things with reason also become the previous through the words of existence and arising, it is said "that is not true." Is it not that understanding "from this to this" from the reason and non-reason is only understanding what was previously set? The thought about this is: If it exists, that is to say, because it is not understood in that way from what will arise, it is impossible to understand. Is not the previous manifestation of intention only non-existent at the time of obtaining the nature of the fruit? If it is said that that is the time of its action, then the self-time of the thing is not the time of action, because the thing is empty. Because it does not exist at that time either, how is it the previous?

It has been shown that this is the nature of Dharma, that is, how the past does not exist. The self-nature of things itself is not an action, because if that were the case, it would lead to the production of results, thereby leading to the non-existence of previous things. This is its meaning. Someone thinks that when the result arises, the cause exists in its own time, then wouldn't the previous thing become the attribute of things? The answer is that it is transforming. Furthermore, it has been clarified that things that are about to happen in the future, because they happen in their own time, will be transformed into existence and production, and this is only the understanding of distinguishing previous things through consciousness. This is the meaning of "furthermore." Whenever, only through indication, the seventh case, that is, the previous thing at that time, the later thing, or the thing that exists at that time, is not what is intended to be expressed. This is the meaning of "therefore, if it exists." If so, then what is intended to be expressed? The answer is that it has been mentioned "because it exists." If the existence of things that are about to happen in the future is also like this, then how is it? The answer is that it has been mentioned "because of existence." Similarly, it has been clarified that this is a worldly saying, that is, "the omen of death." Even if it is not the seventh case in the division of time, the fifth case only applies to the distinction of time, because it is not a thing with distinctions such as time, because the thing itself is not the author. Someone thinks that because this idea has arisen, the author indicated by the word "also," that is, the author and action, etc., are objects fabricated by consciousness, and the same is true for things that are about to happen in the future and things in the past. For example, "How does a seedling grow?" It has been clarified that only what was previously seen is not the cause, because what was not seen is also the cause. This is the meaning of "what was first seen." It has been clarified that through what is seen and what is not seen are the result and the cause, so what is measured by the amount is measurable. This is the meaning of "therefore, through what is seen." It has been clarified that the state of existence that is not confused is the cause, and the state that is not confused is the result, which is indicated by what is seen. This is the meaning of "it is also the state of not being confused." Is not being confused itself, if it exists, is it not happening? It is also the previous thing.
