Ra la. It is also unreasonable to think that there is no afterlife, because it is contradictory. What is said is that it is contrary to one's own habits. If it is not so, what is said is that if the difference produced by habit also arises from the body, then, when other things are produced, because that cause is abandoned, it will not become that cause at that time, this is the meaning. If there is something different from that, it will arise, thinking that it should not be understood as what it produces, what is said is that the producer and the produced are only that existence will produce, but that is not its fruit, however, if there is no it, with the difference of not having it, existence will produce, this is the meaning. Therefore, what is said is induction, because it is the difference produced by habit. Similar eyes etc. are preceding, and are also eyes etc., but similar preceding ones such as mothers are not. Then what is it? It is that similar ones etc. of one's own habit preceding are preceding, this is the meaning. Is it not unreasonable to abandon its production when producing other things? Because smoke etc. are not seen. Because smoke is produced from smoke, and what is produced in the pot of the shepherd is also produced from fire. Similarly, eyes etc. are also produced from other things, and are also produced from the body, thinking that smoke is produced from smoke. The answer to this is: smoke produced from smoke. What is said is that the smoke in the shepherd's pot is a different kind from the continuation of the smoke produced by fire, but the differences of the eyes etc. produced initially are not, because that is a weaker kind than what is produced by other habits. Similarly, paintings etc. should also be explained in this way, this is the meaning. That itself, what is said is the word of the subject. Becoming like that, what is said is the word of difference, the subject and its difference are also that itself, if it is like that, then there is habit, that itself will arise, this is the meaning. The fruit of habit also arises.

Isn't it the difference arising from elements such as earth? How does one understand the habituation to past lives? To this, it is mentioned, "this life," possessing the distinction arising from seeing and habituation, is the reason for understanding past habituation, but not all of it, that is its meaning. For the object of birth, isn't it just focused on that difference alone? How does it become the arising object of habituation? If one does not focus on it simultaneously, one cannot understand any of its arising objects, to this, it is mentioned, "related to habituation," even in this life, one can understand the distinctions such as the wisdom of the wise man who came from elsewhere, which are the arising objects of habituation, to show that this is dependent on the habituation of only the past, therefore it is said, "at the time of past habituation." To this, if it is established that the habituation of the previous life is prior, then conversely, establishing that the habituation of this life is prior, isn't this a contradiction? To eliminate this statement. Therefore, to show that here, from the difference of no habituation, it is only the arising object of habituation, therefore it is said, "therefore," just as one understands this from its arising object, one also understands its difference from the difference of its arising object, that is its meaning. If sometimes one does not focus on what arises from other lives, how does one understand it? To this, it is mentioned, "the result is simultaneous with the cause," because one focuses on its result itself, that is its meaning. Because one focuses on it simultaneously. One does not see others in its result itself, not others, if one says so, just once focusing on its result itself, to show that it is like smoke, therefore it is said, "even without seeing the cause." Calling out, "Hey, Samba," how does it exist? Connected with "in the belly." Also connected with "not born from the mother's belly." This is an example of not coming from a previous life. These buffaloes, are the classification arising from the arising object of habituation, birth, etc.
