The meaning of "doer and eater" is not that the nature of mind is acting, because after thinking, the bodiless, like the sky, cannot act, how can it act? The action of mind and thinking are also actions, this is because it is the tenet, so know it. All actions arising from the blessing of the mind are only awareness. This is merely the blessing of the mind, just as a servant blessed by the master, and a king serving nearby, sometimes it is seen that they act because they are sent. Therefore, even if one does not act oneself, one will become the author of the action. The mind is also like this now, it is merely the conceptualization with the attribute of "it is like this". Merely being close to awareness, or merely completing its action, what is done by the aggregates is not done by it, because it is conceptualization. If a Brahmin dies from being given medicine to eliminate illness, then one will fall into the fault of killing a Brahmin; even if a dakini does not die from the fault of indigestion from eating a corpse, one will fall into the fault of the dead. Therefore, the conceptualizations of existence and non-existence will be combined with the desires of people. Through the distinction of conceptualizations, saying "from this, each one is the author", that is the only reasonable thing. How can conceptualization be perfected? When it is full, it is perfect, and when it is not perfect, it is reduced, and so on, should also be told. What do other actions take? Each is their own action. And so on, one should not believe in the various forms of the author, because the karma has been exhausted. Is the karma done by those who do not understand their own nature not ridiculous? If it is said no, then for the karma that has not been exhausted, what is done by those who are not its actors is also not ridiculous, just as a sword without a thrower cannot cut. If it is put in, it is only a change. Conceptualization is only the actor, is the author. Is the existing exhalation, inhalation, root, wisdom. This has been established. Because it does not depend on others like form, etc., it is not other-dependent, nor is it dependent on it.

To show that consciousness is not the object of dependence, it is said, "Because of obstructing the dependent." Although consciousness may not depend on arising like form, etc., if it is thought to be the cause of things that arise like smoke from fire, then this, which is both the previous and the subsequent consciousness, is the consciousness of the cause. Separation from this is the fruit of dependence itself. What kind of reasoning can prove that this does not rely solely on the fruit itself, but can also be applied to merits, etc.? This is "or for the fruit itself." "Even if it is other" means that it is not reasonable to think that the body itself, which has the previous consciousness, is the dependent. Because it is not seen. The consciousness born from the consciousness of the mother, etc., from which Nur-nur-po etc. arise, does not arise from others, because it is too extreme. As it is said: If something exists, what becomes like that. If understood from that other than that, then everything will become that cause. The causes will become endless. If it is thought to depend on the bodies of the parents, this is "if it depends on the bodies of the parents." "Like paintings, etc." is its example. The painting is dependent on the wall. Like the form of ripening, etc., the difference of having "the fruit also" should be understood as taking fire from other smoke. And the saying "from other fire" is imprudent. The power of intoxication is its nature. "Previously non-existent" means that it does not arise from other powers. Similarly, the consciousness that meets or combines with the body is the fruit, or not other. Not relying on the previous similar kind, or not making it another lineage, this is the method applied to the example. This is "Similarly, the senses and the mind," meaning that the difference of the senses and the difference of the mind are also like that. Saying so is also to explain that the opponent admits this. For this, just as the consciousness and the power of intoxication arise from those things, thinking that this is consciousness, only those are considered, and the remaining expanded parts should be definitely examined in any case, but incidentally, this is determined here.
