Is it not established by direct perception? Is the cessation of phenomena not included in it? If you think so, you will say such words. If there is no other, then the phrase "if there is no" is spoken. For the time being, what is seen is not the pervader of phenomena, because it is separate. It is also not a cause, because it is a result. If it is a result, it must be unrelated, because it itself is both entering and ceasing, but it is not a thing. The thing itself is not impermanent, because it is unrelated. This is its meaning. If the fruit of a thing is not seen, it will not arise. Similarly, it is also the cause of a thing, because without it, there is no phenomenon of that thing. If you think so, then the phrase "that is also at all times" is spoken, because what is not similar to it is not what should be known. The suchness of a thing itself is not what should be known, this is its meaning. Merely the sound of death entering is in relation to the Buddha. How is it known? The phrase "consciousness and so on are extinguished" is spoken. Do trees not have it? Therefore, if it does not have it, how will it not change? If you think so, then the phrase "consciousness is extinguished" is spoken, merely the extinction of consciousness is not death, although it is so, it is decay, that is also preceded by existence, but trees do not have existence at all, this is its meaning. If there is no consciousness, even if it is allowed that there is no death of its decay, but trees have life when there is no nature of consciousness, and the death of its decay, this also has it. If you think so, then the phrase "life is also like that" is spoken, and it is connected with the phrase "is extinguished." Consciousness and life are inseparable, if one does not have it, the other does not have it, this is its meaning. What shows inseparability is "life is life, warmth and." This refers to the name of the characteristic, the relationship of life itself is "warmth is the basis of consciousness." Therefore, merely through one aspect, it is also shown that trees do not have death, that is, "if you admit death." If so, then trees for the Buddha
