That which is not a concordant cause is neither a manifest proof nor an inference, because it is unrelated. This is shown by the phrase "If it is similar." If so, it would not become the statement "Is it not that nothing is determined?" By what difference, or by partiality, is error removed? If the three modes established in intelligence are like any one of the concordant sides, then it would not become the case that even a little is undetermined. That is the meaning. If there is no concomitance or exclusion, how is action understood? The thought that arises is expressed by the phrase "This is completely transformed by action." Since a collection of fruits is impossible from just the ground and so on, it causes the understanding of other meanings. Therefore, it will be explained that concomitance and so on are not contradictory to that understanding. This is shown by the phrase "Let this be set aside for a while." If, in that way, what is done primarily by form and so on is eliminated by being immeasurable, then even though it becomes only what is done by the powerful one, even in that, seeing the various fruits such as happiness and unhappiness, if the agent is the powerful one who has discrimination and compassion and so on, then it is pervaded by contradiction. If this is all-knowing, then why does it enter into the terminology of those who do not know? This has already been shown. Also, on the side of the powerful one who is separated from discrimination and compassion and so on, showing the antidote to desire and so on becomes meaningless. This and so on have already been shown. Now, because desire and so on are not contradictory to the powerful one, showing the antidote, if it is said that it is not reasonable because it is not preceded by intelligence, even if it is not preceded by intelligence, those who precede argument and deception and so on are only present. The one who speaks thinking like this is "Desire and so on, and again," etc., because one sees the various fruits produced by desire and hatred and so on, and reason and freedom from desire and so on. Such a nature is only one, following

The meaning of saying "it is to make inference" is answered by: "Those who are attached to ignorance." It means that if there is such karma, one will naturally not obtain other such results. Even if it is through such karma to understand the meaning, if asked: Is it not pure? The answer is: It is said "not the nature of purity," meaning that purity by nature, or purity due to the fear of hells, etc., is contrary to the cause and effect of play, etc. Is it not karma to have the suffering of hells, etc.? Is it not Ishvara? How can it be the meaning understood by it? If someone thinks that it is because it depends on the agent that produces its own fruit. The answer is: "Because there is no destruction on it." If there is karma, just as fruit arises from desire, etc., Ishvara will also change, because it has been promised that if there is a cause and no obstacle, the fruit is certain. To illustrate this, it is said, "If by desire, etc." If someone thinks, but this is obstructed by mantras and medicines, etc., therefore it will not change. The answer is: It is said, "Truly arises from the power of meditation," meaning that cultivating equanimity and reaching an excellent state is an obstacle to experiencing suffering, but not to other obstacles, which will also be explained later. If someone thinks that this equanimity is by nature, even without cultivation. There is no प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure, प्रमाण, pramana, measurement) for this statement, because the fruit is determined by the cause. To illustrate this, it is said, "That is such a nature." If asked: How do you know that his equanimity is not produced by cultivation? The answer is: "Ishvara changes from Ishvara." It means that because the fruit is related to the cause, and without the cause, the fruit will not arise. For the time being, it makes people understand that Ishvara itself is the cause, and the difference produced by cultivation is understood through cultivation, and others are understood through others. To illustrate that Ishvara with differences cannot exist without the difference of cause, it is said, "Indra, Brahma themselves exist, virtues.
