If one thinks, 'If it exists in the cause, then what is the need?' Therefore, it is said, 'It is not even Īśvara.' If seeds, etc., or something else makes it non-existent, why doesn't it arise from other seeds? If it is said, 'Because it has no capacity,' then, the nature of the effect is capable. If it is said, 'It is not other,' then, 'Why doesn't it arise from other?' This is repeating the same question. Illuminating with a lamp is not making it previously non-existent. Similarly, because it is a potter. If one thinks, 'How can it be without capacity?' Therefore, it is said, 'Potter, etc., puruṣa.' Temporarily illuminating is not different from the object, because it would become non-distinct like before. If it is not different, it would also become as if nothing was done. Because one knows that the previous and the subsequent are the same. It is also not transformed into something else, and it and that are not the same, because they are contradictory. Therefore, only the pradhāna, like water, is waves, and is the effect of the other, and exists in the other, but not the potter, etc., this is its meaning. Only the rising and falling of the pradhāna, therefore the arising and ceasing of the effect exists, to show this, it is said, 'The enjoyment of puruṣa,' because what is rising and falling? Arising and ceasing exists, therefore it also gathers that the inherent capacity of the cause of sentient beings and the other does not exist. Therefore, this is the meaning of 'having intelligence.' Isn't it the desire of puruṣa that makes the pradhāna manifest? Desire is also for the object of sight, and if what is seen does not manifest in the state of a lump of clay, etc., then we, etc., would not arise. If one thinks that obtaining a seer beyond the faculty of the seer is also this, then, it is said, 'However, each puruṣa is,' this is to say that the nature of the effect, because of desire, Īśvara is established as the cause. If it is inferred from the collection of capable ones, then, saying that desire arises, this has already been said. That desire, isn't the pradhāna non-sentient? It is unknowing.

Because of not entering, sentient beings are those who cause entry, thinking thus, it is said: Because of not knowing, it is milk. This means that if one sees non-sentient beings abiding, then causing others to enter is not it, because abiding in that very thing that is seen as it is, it is too extreme for what is not seen as it is, this is the meaning to be expressed. Thus, it shows the effect of just this, and so on. Now, it is said that following the lumps, etc., is declared, because it is seen that pots and bowls, etc., follow kneading. The nature of kneading is constant, and similarly, kneading and water, etc., also follow the following of the following, so it is its nature. From that, one also understands its nature, and finally, because one sees following happiness, etc., therefore, one abides in the name of the possessor of its nature, thinking thus, it is said, therefore, finally happiness, etc. Thinking, why is it not the chief and the powerful?", "original_tibetan": "གཉི་ག་བསྡུས་པ་ལ་གནོད་པ་ཅན་བསྟན་པ་ནི། དོན་རྣམས་རྟོགས་པ་སྔོན་འགྲོ་ཅན། ཅེས་བྱ་བ་སྟེ། སེམས་པ་མེད་པའི་བསྐྱེད་བྱ། ས་གཞི་ལ་སོགས་པ་འབྲས་བུའི་ངོ་བོ་དམིགས་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་དོན་ཏོ། །སེམས་པ་ཅན་གྱི་བསྐྱེད་བྱ་ཁྱིམ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ངོ་བོ་ལ་དེ་ལས་གཞན་པ་དང་མཚན་ཉིད་མི་མཐུན་པ་ཡོད་པ་ཉིད་མ་ཡིན་ནམ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་པ་ལ། དོན་རྣམས་རྒྱུ་ནི་རྟོགས་པ་དང༌། །མི་ལྡན་པ་ནི་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་སྟེ། ས་གཞི་དང་བུམ་པ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ངོ་བོའི་གཟུགས་ཉིད་དུ་བྱེ་བྲག་མེད་དོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་དོན་ཏོ། །སེམས་པ་ཅན་མ་ཡིན་པའི་འབྲས་བུའི་ངོ་བོ་མཐོང་བ་ལས། སེམས་པ་ཅན་མ་ཡིན་པ་རྒྱུ་གང་ཡང་ཡོད་པ་མ་ཡིན་ནམ། གཙོ་བོ་འམ་ཅིག་ཤོས་ཞེས་ཅི་ལས་ངེས་པ་ཡིན་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་པས་ཟེར་བ་ལ། དེ་ལྟ་ན་གཙོ་བོ་ཉིད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་སྟེ། འབྲས་བུའི་རྗེས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་ལས་ཡིན་པར་རྟོགས་པ་ནི་དེའི་ངོ་བོ་གཙོ་བོ་ཁོ་ནར་འགྱུར་བ་ཡིན་གྱི་གཞན་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་དོན་ཏོ། །གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱིམ་དང་བུམ་པ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་བྱེ་བྲག་རྣམས་དང༌། ས་གཞི་དང་ཆུ་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བདེ་བ་དང་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བ་དང་གཏི་མུག་རྣམས་ཀྱི་བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་འགྲོ་པར་མཐོང་བའི་ཕྱིར། དེའི་བདག་ཉིད་ཅན་གྱི་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་ན། བདེ་བ", "chinese_translation": "显示了对于两者合集具有损害性,意思是:诸义了悟为先导。 如果房屋和瓶子等的差别等,以及地基和水池等也因为见到随逐于安乐和痛苦和愚痴等的自性,如果是它的自性之因,安乐", "english_translation": "Showing the harm to the collection of both, it means: All meanings are preceded by understanding.
