Itself completely declines and changes. Because abandoning the fundamental aspect, who would want to reason? What means are there to accomplish it? Even with one's own words, everything declines and changes. In relative measure, there is no establishment anywhere. Thus it is said. If the former is non-deceptive, from the two non-deceptive measures, because of mutual true reliance, the examination as measure itself declines and changes. This is also what is to be shown. The meaning here is this: non-deception itself is measure, and that is related to the meaning of knowledge. The ascertainment there is also by that knowledge or other knowledge. If it is that, then the antecedent that is ascertained as related is knowledge, for if it is not ascertained as related, then the relation is not understood. If it is related, then because of ascertaining the meaning, it only clings to the former, so what is the use of understanding the relation? If from ascertaining the relation, the related meaning is ascertained, then it becomes mutually dependent. If it comes from the knowledge that can function, then it also understands the relation of being able to function, and it is what ascertains being able to function. If it is the function of dreams and so on, that itself is knowledge, then for that, it is also necessary to generate other knowledge that can function from that, and for that, it also becomes coming from others. If the knowledge that can function recognizes the ability to function without harm, then it is measure from itself. The former is also the measure that does not depend on its own result in the same way. That is also, all things, in order to obtain their own nature, become dependent on the cause. In order to obtain its own nature, it enters its own result. Even if consciousness arises, as long as the cause is its own nature, not recognized by other measures, as long as it is determined to be meaningless, then other knowledge arises there, and acceptance is for other causes. Thus it is said. Therefore, for a long time, just as with the first one, merely completely determining is the function of measure, but the other later knowledge of measure itself is not different from the former. Just as with knowledge that can function without harm, the knowledge that ascertains what is to be ascertained is also measure from itself, because there is no difference. That is also, when from itself it becomes measure itself.

At that time, one should not seek for others, and if one does not cut off from the cognition of faults, it will become a false distinction. Thus it is said. Mistaking a conch shell for silver is also different in characteristics from the previous consciousness, arising from dependence on other collections, and is also a reversed object with certainty about that thing, dependent on others. Therefore, because it is a reversed object, it is shown to arise from others. That is also said: Even if one's own purpose is not valid, it should be regarded as valid, It should be observed as if it were valid. For example, just as the latter object is only a valid cognition, the former is also the same. Another case is that it is not determined by itself, but it is said that its own nature depends on others. The knowledge arising from the Vedas, like the knowledge of silver, this transformation is not without. From the production of false things, the knowledge with certainty about such meaning, there is no other truth, nor is it a faulty knowledge, because it is not made by humans. Just as the sound recognized in oneself, like the words of fingertips, etc., there is no fault of arising knowledge that is not true to the object. One should never recognize from its own nature what is not its own nature, because sometimes one will truly recognize things from it. To what is said that truth will arise and untruth will also arise. Truth does not arise from the production of false things, and even if it arises, the sound itself is not faulty, but exists in the collection of people, and people will also change the order of words that precede wisdom. The only one who deceives is the person, not the sound. Because there is no person in the Vedas, because it is not an order made by him, one should not suspect that it will deceive. That is also said: For a while, sound Arises from faults, It depends on the speaker. Thus it is said. That itself is a valid cognition that depends on others, but in the world and in the Vedas, one should not separately establish validity, thinking in this way. To this, it is said to generally show the characteristics of validity, because it is to be represented by it, so whether from oneself or from others, that characteristic should be examined as validity, that is its meaning. Validity itself is merit.
