Therefore, it is established. If merely the proximate cause of non-sentient things is the same as the expression of sound, then it is not universally applicable, because excellent wisdom and other wisdoms are able to be excellent, while some wisdoms are not able to see. If the proximate causes of houses and other things are no different in terms of non-sentient things, then how can one distinguish that one depends on it and the other does not? If that is the case, even though the proximate causes of pots and cloths are no different, they depend on the distinctions of potters and threads, etc., but the distinction produced by the wisdom of threads is not from others, then, for other things as well, the distinction produced by wisdom is only from the proximate cause. Why can't it arise from non-proximate causes? If from the proximate cause of unconscious actions, how can definite results such as places arise? Then, how can actions exist through its thought? Because they are not different, they are the same. If it is said that this is due to the distinction of unseen and other cooperative factors, then even if the distinction of cooperative factors makes it definite, why is certainty not a creation of wisdom? Because it is a follower of the existence or non-existence of cooperative factors, and, just as the self-nature of questions and pleasures, etc., is definite, the certainty of places, etc., can only be obtained through it. If it is examined, then, if there are causes that produce all things, then it is the blesser of those causes, not like a potter who autonomously determines certain actions, because completing actions is beyond the scope of what can be determined. Therefore, for the knowledge of the abilities of those things, no excellence can be fabricated, if the potter knows it, then the distinction produced by his wisdom is a huge distinction of accomplishment. If he insists on completely changing it, then Ishvara (Maheśvara, the Lord of Freedom) would not insist on doing it in that way, because this would lead to producing one good after another, and his ability is excellent.

If it is said that the collection of those who take near from the factors is the agent, then no, because those factors themselves, gathered by their own causes, produce by their own power. For the time being, knowledge there is not necessary, because power is considered only in the actions of those who act together. To show this, it is said, "Or accomplish what is desired." If it is said that the result of the agent and actions, etc., that precede is observable, then it is said of this, "Differences, etc.," because only the agent, not the non-agent, will also change like wood being burned. If it is said that it is seen by a sentient being, then the result produced by it is also only other. If it is said that the earth, etc., are produced, or that the result itself is not produced by the ignorant such as the sky, then even if it exists, it will not be produced, because it has already been shown that it does not exist on clothes, etc. The so-called "example is not established" means that what is to be proved is itself incomplete. Similarly, smoke and what is done, etc., in relation to the example and the example, are distinguished only by the nature of the dharma, without recognizing the other. Like that, if there is no following in the example, merely seeing the inconsistent aspect is not a proof, because it is like seeing a mistake, still suspecting it is a mistake. Just as merely arising, or merely the change of burning, is not a proof of the potter's action, because there is no certainty of not being mistaken there either. To show this: Or again, there is doubt. That is what is said. Is it not that action is seen by actions that precede, such as breaking? If it is said that just as one recognizes how action transcends the senses such as the eye, so too, for this, an agent who transcends the senses is established from action, to this it is said, "Or accomplish what is desired," because just like the senses, it is established that it is not sentient, or because there is no difference in the production of knowledge, so the speaker's intention is accomplished. The agent who is not omniscient preceding is itself inverted.
