If it is said that it is not knowledge because only a similarity arises without the knowledge of others. If one grasps the seen as similar to oneself, then, since the object has not been seen before, how can it be determined that it is similar to the seen? For something that does not desire similarity itself, there is no simultaneous appearance of the two. At that time, what is there to say about the object and knowledge, or those things? Merely seeing does not comprehend similarity, because it is necessary to understand "this and this are similar." Since objects, the seen, the past, and the future cannot be understood simultaneously, it is not understood in that way. If that is fabricated, then it is a discriminating consciousness, not an understanding of the object. If that later one also does not have self-awareness, then the fault of infinity has already been stated. For something that does not desire similarity, there will also be no understanding of the object, because it is not possible to fabricate there. If the later seen is understood as a nature different from the object, then, since there is no such nature, that is also not fabrication, because that nature is not acknowledged. Even if understood by its own nature, it is merely exhausted as another object. Therefore, what is the object, what is the discriminating consciousness, and what knows through what? Therefore, by stopping speech, one should remain silent. Is it not the seen? Pillars and so on are observed as the object itself, if it is said that the seen is unreasonable, then it is not. This has already been answered. If seeing, then it is seeing by one's own nature. Then, when seeing white and so on, what is its aspect, if that is another nature, then white and so on will not appear clearly. If that is one's own entity, then oneself will appear very clearly. If the seen itself is the nature of manifest knowledge, then at that time oneself is manifest, because there is no other manifestation. If it is not manifest by its own nature, then, if its nature does not manifest, the object will not manifest, because if the nature of appearance does not manifest, it cannot be said that the object manifests. The meaning of what is said to others is that if the aspect of the grasped manifestation is the hidden wisdom that enters within, then the manifestation also hides.

it will become hidden. Therefore, the nature of complete clarity of appearance will become unclear. If so, like inference, it will become the nature of hidden meaning. For inference, the clarity of appearance is also hidden. If the knowledge of inference is not an appearance of an unclear state, then there too, the meaning can be understood. Therefore, if it is not self-awareness, all things will become merely invisible, so it is said that knowledge is self-aware, this view is established. For those views that do not acknowledge self-awareness, all things are invisible, this is because mind is not direct perception, and those views have already been answered. This view here is also the same reasoning as before. If it is not aware of its own part, then mind will not become the one that knows the object and its own essence. It is not the one that knows the object, because the appearance is hidden. It is not the self, because it is not acknowledged. Furthermore, happiness and suffering, attachment and hatred, etc., will become self-aware. These are also the nature of mind, therefore, mind is not direct perception, how can it be the object of acknowledgment that is harmed by direct perception? If it is said to be the nature of mind, that is not possible. From the difference of the basis, object, and habituation, it enters into different states. The differences of happiness, suffering, desire, etc., are direct perceptions, mind itself is the difference of the basis. For example, the happiness caused by the eyes, etc., are mutually different, and they are also objects of form, etc. Similarly, from habituation, the arising of very clear objects, etc., in the objects themselves of the eyes, etc., is also consciousness, not the object of the object, etc. If the object arises from the collection of consciousness itself, that is like scattering water with cupped hands, it is a waste of effort. Therefore, acknowledging these as hidden, it is not harmed by direct perception. Like this, other than that which is different from it, there is not even a little bit of knowing it, clinging to it without knowing, if there is no knowing, it is said to be the direct perception of self-awareness, this has been said more than once. However, this
