The exhaustion of desire and the yogis, such as knowing the marks and so on, all the various desires, are contradictory in order to eliminate everything. That which harms the knowledge of pillars and so on, the exhaustion of desire and so on in the knowledge of the Buddhas and so on, the various differences of marks and so on, because they are harmed, the reason also becomes contradictory. Thus, when, like dreams and so on, the inverted mind with antidotes harms the knowledge of pillars and so on, then the wisdom of the Tathagatas also becomes inverted because it has antidotes. Like the knowledge of pillars and so on that harms dreams. If it is said, if the difference harms by contradiction, will the faultless reason not become non-existent here? All reasons will change their power, and there will be none that does not contradict everything. For example, the mind of dreams is established as inverted by the mind of pillars and so on because it has antidotes, so the non-yogic knowledge is also equipped with antidotes because of the nature of mind, just like the nature of the mind of dreams. Thus, just as fire is established, so here it is also established that there is no fire now, so none of the reasons for establishing what is to be established will be established. Moreover, because of the nature of mind, only being equipped with antidotes is established, but not the difference of being equipped with antidotes. Thus, just as what is made establishes the impermanence of sound, so it will also establish the opposite of the qualities of space. Because of the promise of the treatise, the qualities of space will not become what is to be established, and it will be said that desire is what is to be established. Therefore, the refutation of the reason by the contradiction of difference will not be established. If it is said, like the present harming mind, because it is not harmed by many people, does it harm by inference? Or does it state the establishment of refutation? The knowledge of pillars and so on is true, because there is no harm from many people, like the present harming mind. The knowledge of pillars and so on, which has become the place of dispute, is not what is to be harmed, because the knowledge of many people harms it.

Because it has not arisen with that object. If it is said, like the mind that harms dreams, etc. (harms)? That is inconsistent. Like this: If there is no connection, it is only desired that it is unseen. If what is to be established can be established, then this answer is reasonable. From the ultimate truth, the mind that harms dreams is not not harmed, because it is visible that the direct perception itself is harmed. From the conventional truth, even if the mind of pillars, etc. is not harmed, we have no fault. Then, like dreams, etc., how does the unreal mind harm? Because there is a difference in size. This has already been explained at the beginning. Furthermore, the waking mind is not a harm to the appearance of dreams because it is true. Because its other actions have no object. Even if it is not true, is there nothing? The so-called harm is not because its own object is true, but because it does not appear. This has been said. The nature of non-appearance is the nature of inverted appearance. That does not harm the cognition of one's own part. Like this: The entity or the measurable, even if measured, all those are contrary to this. From then on, even if abiding in one's own part, the waking mind will harm others. If this is also confused, then what is relied upon to harm the mind of dreams, etc.? That is also not true. When the meaning that can be established is established, it is the same as the mind of dreams, etc. Then what do we need the harmer and the harmed things? If it is necessary to say something else, then the previous fault of being able to establish is also here. Like that, because there is no difference between what is to be remembered and what is to be established, it cannot be said. Therefore, the cause is not established in both. The mind for the sake of realization, or the mind for the sake of realizing this, is distinguished in this way. For that, there is the same fault as before. Because there is no difference from what is to be established, it is a part of the true meaning, so because it is not what is said, the cause of realization itself is not established in both. If the difference of realization is the dharma, and the general is what can be established, so it is not a part of the meaning of the vow. Then, explain this.
