The place of appearance also comes into being as conventional truth. If one holds that the proponent and the opponent are different, then the very first view will collapse. Like a dream, external objects will also disappear. At that time, if the result has already been established, then what is the use of arguing about whether it is established or not? Furthermore, this has already been stated before, so what is the use of this argument? Those with ignorance and afflictions, do not know the nature of faults, Women who are free from strife, give birth to wonderful people. Such words, in front of the enlightened ones, Will they not collapse again? There is no doubt. Therefore, even if one acknowledges various elaborations such as schools of thought in the manner of blind people touching an elephant, there is no fault in proving that they do not exist when one later enters the ultimate truth. If someone thinks, "I have only realized my own appearance," then won't the realization of others hinder your realization? For those who are realizing, realization arises from the words that express the absence of an object of focus, saying, "There is nothing other than one's own part." Therefore, from which valid cognition does your realization that "those who do not cling to differences, the realizers, do not engage in proof" arise? Or, if one thinks that those who do not possess different realizations are not realizers, that is not correct. Because: That is the realizer, this is not the realizer. That is not the realizer, there is no realizer. Or, if one falls into one side, thinking that there is no realizer, then: From falling into one side, how can one be liberated? The two that contradict each other should not be realized. For the sake of realizing one by one, one will fall into one side. Therefore, because of the contradiction, the two realizers, through argument, will become other realizers, so there is no end. If the proponent is a realizer, then it will become mutually dependent. Because both of them will necessarily fall into their own school of thought. Therefore, one must acknowledge what comes from valid cognition. The previous commitment that contradicts this will be eliminated. When those who are realizing are schools of thought, proponents, opponents, and different wisdoms, even so, if...

Those (refutations) that come from the power of valid cognition, eliminating what is inverted, are not contradictory to those (previous statements). How can one not accept the reason there, since those (cognitions) that one determines to understand with one's own intellect will become completely pure? Therefore, in what way does the previous commitment harm this (view)? Because this (view) that comes from the power of valid cognition is not directed at the previous (commitment). How can it be secretly said that this (view) is irrelevant? For those who boast of truth, it is considered to be without an object. Therefore, what harm is there to the faction that does not want it to be true? However, one might also think this: For the understanding of Dharma and non-Dharma, and for the student himself, there is no establishment in the ultimate sense. Therefore, it is not reasonable to closely indicate Dharma and so on. In order to establish this (view), the Buddhas clearly consider (Dharma and so on) to be different. Therefore, since the Sutra Pitaka is also promised, it will contradict the scriptures. The fame of the world will also harm the faction. If the mind that establishes everything is considered to be wrong, then at that time, how can one say that all desires are non-existent, or incomplete, etc.? Those that have objects will be uncertain by those (objects) themselves. If one promises something different from this, then the understanding that is different from this is false. Since factions and so on are not included within, therefore, that is not a faction and so on. Even if that is proven to be wrong, it will not establish everything that came before. At that time, the knowledge of what is to be proven and what proves it will become undifferentiated. As long as one makes a vow, saying something different from that, then as long as that is the case, the later (vows) are wrong, therefore they will harm the previous (vows). If it is harmed by inference, it will also become a non-deceptive contradiction. Therefore, for all factions, one should state the opposite proof. This mind that thinks that external objects exist is true, because it is a mind that is free from harm, like the mind that is harmed by dreams and so on. If you say that that is also wrong, because there is no harm in dreams and so on, now your proof has no example with similar properties. If you admit that consciousness exists and is different, and that the minds of momentariness and so on are true, then by that alone it will become uncertain. Even if you understand that those are wrong, it will harm the faction.
