Then, should it be said, "It is not so"? What fault is there in the speaker? If it is because one has previously seen something arising from fire that one can understand it, then how should this be understood? Here, too, it is established that a hazy consciousness has no object, because there is no external object. If it is said that it is focused on space, then just as focusing on a hair illusion is focusing on space, focusing on space will also become something else, because what appears is not the object. If it is said that for the cognition of space, what appears is the object, then this will also apply to the consciousness of hair. Examining everything that appears inverted, as well as recollection and statements, and the supramundane, etc., or saying that it is not any of them, this is certain. If it is argued that, having an object, the consciousness of one moon with an object, because it has an object, the consciousness of two moons has no object, this is reasonable. Then how about the consciousness of one moon? It has already been said that it is also of that nature. If it is said that it is due to harm, then it has already been shown that it has also been harmed. It should also be said that what does not appear is not an object. It will also be shown that blue, etc., are consciousness itself. Just as the consciousness of hair illusions, etc., has space, etc., as its object, the consciousness of the nature of blue will also become object-possessing because of yellow and red, etc. How is it established that the consciousness of form has no object in terms of taste, etc.? If it is said that without an empty pot scorched by sunlight, the consciousness of water will not arise, then without taste, etc., will the consciousness of form arise? For real water, even without an empty pot scorched by sunlight, the consciousness of water arises. If it is said that there is a difference, because they are mutually different, both will become without an object or not so. If it is said that both are object-possessing, if it is because of what appears, then one should not say that an empty pot is scorched by sunlight, etc. If it is said that the non-appearance is the object merely because of the cause, then it will become a habit, because our

May your wishes be fulfilled! If that's the case, it would just become mere appearance. What else is there to do? Because direct perception and inference would become indistinguishable. For appearance, everything is direct perception. The basis of worldly fame, delusion and non-delusion, would become indistinguishable. Everything, in its own nature, non-delusion is the negation of others. If one knows with an object from seeing, it is established that there is no attainment. For mirages, because of mistaking them for water, even if attained, it would become like that. If it's not all the time, for everything, one only sees that it's not all the time. If it doesn't perish, it's just change. How can it perish and not change? Recognition is clarity, therefore everything is confused. Therefore, from direct perception and inference, all realizations are without an object. The rest has already been said. Thus, after recounting the distinctions of others' imputation, if one refutes, what is unreasonable about this? It's like what was said: Because there is no external object, he thinks there is no object. How can this tenet be known when what is to be established is established? What was said has also been refuted. Like this, for example, because one cannot know others, if the distinction is not fully established, just as the tenet is not established, the distinction will also become a distinction. If the meaning of the words is not established, the meaning of the language cannot be known, and that is that. Because it has a preliminary, the tenet should also be established as the meaning of the language. It should be established that the meaning of having is what should be established, so it is said. That is not so, because in the ultimate sense, the object of the external object is not established, it is only the promise of others. Therefore, it should be refuted, and the establishment for the sake of dispelling delusion is what will be shown later. If it is fully established by valid cognition, how can it be established as non-existent? If it is through the way of harming valid cognition, that is not so. If valid cognition is harmed by valid cognition, because there is no trust, it will lead to the cessation of valid cognition. Having no contradiction and no delusion, what is said is non-existent, it should be shown like this. If what is seen, such as the place and time, is prevented from going elsewhere, that is not so, because there is no delusion. Other places and so on.
