If so, if it is established for everything here, if it is established that there is no object of focus, then the difference will not be established, and there will be no example. If it is established that all realizations are without an object of focus, then what example is there here? If it is an unconscious consciousness, then even so, the example is not established, because some aspects of dream realizations also have an object of focus, because they focus on that time or another time's state. If the object of focus of that time originally has nothing else, then at this time, saying that there is no object of focus in some aspects is establishing what has already been established, because the eye consciousness is empty of taste, etc. That time or other times, etc., are all right, whenever, in whatever way, one focuses, one should acknowledge that it has an object of focus. Even if that is the case, it is still without an object of focus, then the consciousness of taste will also become without the object of focus of form, if that is the case, then that is what is desired, therefore it is establishing what has already been established. Or, in the mind, if there is any aspect that can reject the object of focus, because one has already acknowledged one's own aspect, so not having it is contradictory. On the part of the grasping aspect of consciousness, the aspect of the object itself does not exist. Then what is it? It is the aspect of consciousness, because you have already acknowledged it. If I therefore infer that consciousness has no grasper, then that is not what is desired either. Because there, the nature of the grasper will become the object of focus. If you say that there is no object of focus of external objects, that is not right, for those without an object of focus of external objects, if even the "external" that grasps external objects is not there, then the consciousness of pillars, etc., will not exist. That would be establishing what has already been established. In consciousness, if one thinks there is an external pot, there, the pot itself is not the object of focus, but it is the place of the external object. Because it has a common basis with it, the pot will be understood in that way. Or, if you say that the nature of pillars, etc., has no object of focus, because the experience has already been seen, it will become contradictory to this. If it is the same as the double moon, etc., because there is no contact with the sense faculty, we say there is no object of focus there, not because there is no awareness of the object. Because there is no contact with the eye and other sense faculties, it is grasped by consciousness, the consciousness of the double moon, etc., is an object of focus.

It is said to be non-existent, but that very absence of focus is not non-existent. This means that recognizing (the moon) as a single moon is without focus because there is no duality with that sense faculty. However, it is not entirely meaningless. From the perspective of seeing a single moon, the opposite is without focus, which is the cause of recognizing the absence of focus. This itself demonstrates: the sense faculty is related to the object, and unrelated, so at all times, we have experience, yet we establish it as clinging to non-existence. You do not have sense faculties, etc., therefore, without clinging and separation, the focus itself becomes causeless, and denial itself is unreasonable. It is said that recognition and focus are non-existent. This is because the mind, stained by the impurity of untrue recognition, displays arrogance to others, and is therefore extremely ignorant. Like this: the object of forgetting of the word "without focus" is the focus on one's own part. If it is established by valid cognition, how can one refute it, and how can one refute it? This sound is the prevention of focusing on grasping what others have examined, and is combined with focusing on one's own part, which is recognized through occasions, etc. If it were not so, it would not be possible to recognize meaning from sound. Therefore, since the world recognizes this meaning from sound, how can one not examine this? If one also says that because the speaker and what is spoken are no different from others, how can the mere meaning of sound become a subject? If one asks if it has not already been said? The answer is, saying it is true, but since it is unreasonable, what is the use of that? What is not different from, this is now the only transformation that is not dualistic. However, recognition is also mutually different from other recognitions. For example, recognition from the sound of a pot is different, and recognition from the sound of felt is also different, and so on. Sound makes the previously grasped meaning become the object of memory. Therefore, for those knowledges that are blue, etc., are the focus, and have become the object of your recognition, saying that they are without focus, what is unreasonable about making others recognize? If someone recognizes that smoke does not arise from fire, then your recognition that smoke does not arise from fire is...
