For things, too, existence is asserted by inference. Seeing smoke, one infers the existence of fire; is that not inference? However, there, the very object cognized by inference is not existent, because it exists even without inference, and therefore it is erroneous. The cessation of inference does not make one understand that the thing does not exist, because there is inference even for past and future things. If it is said thus, this is not good. Because without an object of cognition, there is nothing other than non-cognition. That which has become the characteristic of cognition is established as the name of non-existence by non-cognition, because their existence is not other than cognition. Like this, to say that it is both cognizable and non-cognizable is itself a contradiction. Therefore, the existence of a thing that becomes the characteristic of cognition is cognition itself. Like this, if the cognizable itself is the very essence of that thing, and it is said to exist in the cognizing cognizer, then, at that time also, it is the pervasive existence that has become the characteristic of cognition. Even if there is no return from that, it is not a different way of returning, because difference is understood through return. Therefore, in order not to be confused, it is said that cognition itself is existent. By simultaneously cognizing different things, things are not cognized, however, there, the characteristic of the cognizable that is subsequently understood is from cognition itself. Therefore, it will be explained that cognition itself is existent, and from that, non-cognition itself is non-existent. Non-things do not have any difference from each other in ultimate truth, however, there is no pot, there is no chariot, thus they are different by the difference of different things. In ultimate truth, even if the things to be negated are different, they are not different because there are no things. If non-existence itself is due to non-cognition, then, at that time, there is no inverted thought. That is true, like this: Therefore, in order not to understand what is to be understood, one wants an example of non-cognition. One example of non-cognition is the characteristic of self-nature non-cognition. For the time being, knowledge and the knowable, those non-things, because they do not understand the lack of difference, or those Samkhyas, because they are extremely ignorant, hold that everything exists in everything.

In order to understand those ignorances that are contrary to complete knowledge, because self-nature is unobtainable, they are one. However, what is to be established there? Because there is no object of perception, therefore, in that place, the object-possessor, knowledge, speech, and doubt will cease, just as it is said that it is not fire because it is not burning. The object of knowledge and speech is existence itself, and among those, the object of doubt is doubting there. By ascertaining that that object does not exist, knowledge, speech, and doubt are eliminated, because there is an object of elimination. For example, it is said that it is not fire because it is not burning, if there is fire in other aspects, there will be doubt about the fire, because there is elimination. If that does not exist, how can it exist? In this way, there is no fire because there is no burning, and this itself is not other. Just as burning and fire are not other. The absence of what can be observed is not other than the unobservable. Therefore, from that existence, its, the sound of reason, knowledge is established. The absence of all that is called the nature of observability is not other than the nature of unobservability. Therefore, if that is established, then its own nature, the object, is only established. If it is not because the unobservable establishes the non-existence of the object, how can that which is to be established and that which can be established be one? That is also not permissible, because that itself is not established here, by the unestablished, the unestablished will not be established, for this, there is no separation, therefore that is not. Whatever is said that what is to be established and what can be established must be different, because the object of what is to be established and what can be established itself is not established here. How can that be established as different in that way? The unestablished will not be established by the unestablished. As long as it is not thoroughly established as the object to be established and the object that can be established in another, it will not be established as different until then. As long as it is not established as different, until then, the object to be established and the object that can be established will change if there is a relationship. For abandoning the relationship of the self-nature of the unobservable and the non-existent, there is no other relationship. Those are cause and relationship
