all terms become valid. However, if it is said that the appearances themselves, being different from each other, are to be measured by the realization of one's own awareness, that is also not true. From mere appearance, the world's, terms cannot be established. What else is there to do with mere appearance? The object of doing, the thing to be taken or other, is the term of those who possess realization. Mere appearance, in its very moment, changes in that way, so it is not to be taken or abandoned. Thus, since mere consciousness is non-dual, it is neither different nor non-different. Therefore, difference and non-difference come from the object of the result, and the object of cause and result also comes from following and opposing, so my own is not the cause of anything, so it cannot be inferred from anything. Therefore, because the power of aggregation is different, things have various natures. If it does not differentiate, this world will become one nature. One nature means there is nothing to be taken or abandoned, or mere appearance is non-dual. However, Indra's crown is both the nature of fire and the nature that is incompatible with it. Therefore, will the fruit of fire also change from it? The explanation for this is: this differentiates, differentiates, otherwise the single nature will be lost. If one is not nature, then fire and non-fire are two natures. The characteristic of different things is that the nature itself is different. Therefore, since it is fire that produces smoke, there is no confusion in the reason for the result. If that is the nature of fire, then Indra's crown is not different. By whatever nature it is different, that itself is not the producer, so where is there any doubt of confusion? Therefore, the other is produced by it, nature, but it itself, if it is not the nature that produces it, then how can it change from it? Therefore, cause and result, mutually, are definitely nature. Therefore, just as seeing oneself, even seeing the fruit, one will realize it. Then, just as water and milk cause decay, how can one change from many? It is not like that, moist

Where does decay and corruption occur? Are the two one or different? Is it a self of different bodies but one nature? How is it a different but liquid nature? The mind that possesses its nature is said to be one because there is no difference. Water and milk are not of the same nature, but because they differ from other natures such as hardness, they are one because there is no difference. Similarly, a rotten fruit is not one in the ultimate sense, but because it differs from others, it is spoken of as such, and there is no error. That other, fire, is different. By what aspect is it recognized as fire? It is the basis, and from this it is born, so it is recognized as such. Knowing fire, the limbs depend on others, and because they arise from dependence, smoke has no error in it. Thus, other fruits are also established. That which is called "such" is like water and milk. Although water and milk are different, they are recognized as the basis of liquidity because the liquid nature differs from others. Similarly, although fire is different, it is the basis for recognizing fire because it differs from others. What is called "by what aspect" is the cause of recognizing fire. It is recognized by this itself, otherwise it would be an error. Without the limbs of recognizing fire, smoke does not arise, so there is no error in it. Thus, smoke is a transformation of firewood, and because it relies on the limbs, it is established as fire. If it is not fire, then it is not smoke. If that is smoke, then that does not exist. The limbs of the transformation of smoke and firewood are fire, and others are not. Therefore, if the crown of Indra and so on is not the nature of warmth and so on, then at that time it is not smoke, but rather taking and so on. This, from what other than this is not seen, is certainly not reasonable. If so, then blue also does not transform into another. By what reason, if it is not so, does it not transform into blue? It does not transform into smoke, this is the same. This, by what, is also the same as the other. If blue and so on are the nature of one's own nature, then without one's own nature, it does not arise. The thing to be produced is not the nature of smoke and so on.
