That is also incorrect. For example, if it changes, it is because of change; because of following and opposing. This is cause, effect, thing. If it is not so, it will become without other. Because of following and opposing memory and the habit of previous experience, if it changes, it is because of change, so "I" is not the cause. If it does not change without being pervasive and constant, if it is not so, time and so on will also become the cause, because there is no difference. Or, will it not change without an experiencer and a feeler? That is not so, because from memory and experience, if the rememberer and the experiencer are recognized, then if space is so, why is it not recognized? Because memory and experience are not suitable for others, so a certain rememberer and experiencer is recognized, not changing from space and so on. If it is so, it will be recognized as "it is so" and "there is one." That is also not contradictory to space and so on, because there is no difference in pervasiveness, constancy, and non-corporeality, etc. Or, is it the "I" of the author who recognizes "I", and not just non-corporeality? For the thought of "I am", isn't it Devadatta who says "I am of the dancing caste"? Or, isn't the body appearing blue? If because of the impermanence of the body? No, because the state of the body is impermanent, but the possessor of the state has no difference in the afterlife and so on, so this recognition itself is not a difference of wisdom. Memory and so on are recognized as dwelling on the body, not dwelling on the non-corporeal. Or, for the time being, an understander is established, is that the body? If other understanding does what? That is also not right, because from the collection of states, no other body is recognized. Therefore, for the debating party, establishment has no harm. Also, for the constant, unchanging nature, if from memory and experience, the rememberer is always far away, how will it become knowing things? If changed by happiness and so on, then it is also not suitable to be constant. If not changed by happiness and so on, then for happiness

It is not appropriate to dwell in places such as these. Why is memory a result? Therefore, why isn't experience? However, the consciousness called "I" is not just cause and effect. Like this, what was previously seen and held is definitely realized by my memory. All beings do it, which is realization itself. That is also not the case. Like this, the realization of remembering what was previously seen is only born from oneself. If there were such immeasurable things, all changes would become without establishment. If knowledge born only from the cause, myself, is valid, then everything would become valid, and everything of everything would be accomplished, so it would become very chaotic. Therefore, whatever arises based on undamaged senses is not valid. If that is the case, then how can it be true to say that something has the ability to connect with memory? How can it be true to realize the unity of before and after, since the knowledge produced by the eyes and so on is uninterrupted? Without the realization that becomes memory, I cannot realize myself or others by following. Therefore, this statement, "I remember," is only conventional. Therefore, everything is reasonable with the conventional self. Furthermore, due to the very nature of confusion, what should be heard and life, etc., will become the same. Even if it is a contradictory thing, why is there no confusion in this? How can it be accomplished that it is not its own nature, that it is not contradictory, then in meaning it is not a follower of what is to be accomplished, and it will be said that it is the same as others. There is no difference between what should be heard itself and life, etc., because both are the same in that they are only contradictory things. Therefore, what is the reason that one is confusion and the nature is not? If the contradictory things are not the same, it is because the objects are different. What should be heard itself is also a contradictory thing from both the agreeable and disagreeable sides, but life, etc., is not, because it is only contradictory from what is not to be accomplished? Then, since what should be heard itself is also contradictory from the agreeable side, is it said that there is no following in the agreeable side? That is the same as life, etc.
