As it is. There is no difference in essence. How can there be difference due to others? Because it possesses whiteness, the cloth is proclaimed to be white. The difference of others does not become connected with others. If it is said that the general and the manifest coincide, and because they are connected by gathering, they become possessive. Since there is no difference in the general, because it coincides and gathers with the manifest, the manifest itself becomes without difference. Therefore, because it is connected with all generals, even a cow becomes a horse, etc. Furthermore, the general of a cow is the cow itself, and the manifest also does not differ from each other in its own nature, whether it is of the same kind or of a different kind. Therefore, in this way, the manifest makes the general different from others. However, if the manifest differs from things of different kinds by its own nature, then that which has no difference is the general. What else can be done? Even if the general is admitted, the difference in the manifest will distinguish the general from other generals. Then, the characteristic of the general is to establish what has already been established. That general is different from other generals by its own nature, and that which is connected with the general is different because it is connected with it. For example, the nature of white is only its own, and the cloth is because it is connected with it. If it is said like that, then it is not reasonable, as it is said: The nature of the color white, Cannot be understood even in one place alone. From then on, by its own and itself, How can one understand the nature of white? White and so on always exist in things. Therefore, how can one understand that those that cannot be viewed separately are its own nature? If one does not admit that the white itself is the thing itself. If the white itself is the thing, then what is its own nature? Then what is the nature of the thing? The fault is the same. If it is said that the thing is understood in this way, then the so-called thing cannot be understood without touching color and shape. Color and shape are also qualities, so how can a thing that changes from that become an object of understanding? Shape also does not depend on things that are different from color, etc. Color itself is the nature of being round, etc.

It is also a manifestation. If the substance is also a manifestation, just like this, the consciousness of touch also thinks that this vase is this, and it appears as one. Merely merit is not recognition, because that is not, it will become saying that touch is color. The object of touch should not be color. Therefore, the substance itself is a knowing awareness with the nature of recognition. Therefore, if something can be grasped by a consciousness with a different object from something, then it is different from that thing, for example, just like a vase and a cloth, a substance can also be grasped by a consciousness with a different object, this is a reasoning of nature. If you say so, then what is to be said here is: From things other than form, etc., there is no recognition seen. Without memory, the previous one is not the object of comprehension. When seeing a mountain, vases, etc. do not appear. The consciousness of touch is also not the first, the first is only the appearance of a part. Even if there are no other parts, only that part appears. That is not a vase, because the part that pervades all parts with directional differences is the vase. Merely form is also not a vase, because it is said that the cause of the collection of forms is like that, and at that time there is no recognition. If it is thought that when other parts and other merits, etc. appear, it is holding the part with parts, that is also non-existent. Just like this: At that time, it is only one other part, because it will be grasped, so the shape of holding the part with parts does not exist. Similarly, for other merits, even if it is broken, memory will arise. The comprehension arising from inference cannot be done without direct perception as a guide. When other parts and other merits are cognized on a vase, etc., if merits and other parts are not cognized, how can it be a part with parts? Merely those are not vases. If it is said that the recognition together with memory completely understands the part with parts of the vase, etc., then at that time, if the parts and merits are distinguished, it will also become saying which is the vase. Not distinguishing each other is because it depends on a collection. There is also no valid cognition that holds without separation.
