If it is said that stating what should be established is the proposition, what fault is there if it is held that it is not stating what is already established? If it is said that this is not rejected by the means of proof, etc., then it should be said in this way: From the force of showing the means of proof, one understands that the meaning is what should be established. All means of proof are undertaken to establish what is not yet established. If it is already established, what is the use of the means of proof? Therefore, by the force of explaining the nature of the means of proof, one understands that the meaning that is not yet established is what should be established, so there is no fault of being already established. However, the opposite meaning is not necessarily held. Because it is pervaded by names such as reason, there is no doubt about the establishment. If one thinks, "Stating what should be established is the proposition" is because we hold it firmly. Looking at the function of sound, it is to show that the meaning that is not yet established is the clear meaning, but the means of proof is not capable of that. If one thinks like that, then it is said here: Because it is pervaded by the nature of reason, etc., there is no need to show the meaning that can be established. How does one rely on the function of sound to show the meaning that is not yet established and can be established, and thus show only the meaning that should be established? As it is said, the nature of what should be established and can be established is reason, etc., by the force of example. What should be established and can be established is reason, which is the way of what should be established and can be established. The example is also the same. Because it can be said in this way, it is pervaded by the nature of reason, etc. If one holds it firmly beforehand, then there is no point in stating the nature of the proposition. Therefore, by stating it by force, one should know that it is the result of pervasion. Thus, showing what should be established is only the proposition. If it is like that, even if it is pervaded by a different nature, even so, it is only the proposition, not what is not the proposition. Because unrelated decisions, etc., will become the result, the establishment

Showing what is being done is a commitment, which is the meaning of these words. Otherwise, it is meaningless. If it is not said by oneself? Even so, it is said that the example and reason are not established, then it will become a fault of commitment. In response to the general answer with the definition of other reasons, etc., "because of the nature of not being established before," and similarly, in response to "because everything is not established," if it is not said like this, then this fault does not exist, because this is mutually contradictory. In this way, it will become the fault itself, doing so is not to establish one's own intention well, this is only to show mutual contradiction, not to establish the meaning to be established with this reason. Merely being mutually contradictory is the reason for the intention. Therefore, this must be grasped later. Like this, all those that are not related to "is" and are distinguished, therefore will not become a commitment, those are to be excluded. By establishing "not just the commitment of commitment" itself, also exclude what is not a commitment. For the time being, the definition of the limb has been clarified. Now, in order to clarify the definition of the similar limb, it is declared: The reason is contrary to the commitment, it is not a fault of the commitment. That itself, the example itself has not been learned well, because it said the non-corresponding Dharma. Some people say like this, whatever is contrary to the commitment and the reason is contrary to the commitment, for example, "sound is permanent, because everything is impermanent." Sound is permanent, this is the commitment. Because everything is impermanent, this is the reason. If everything is impermanent, how can sound be permanent? If there is no sound, it will not become everything. However, if sound is also impermanent, then saying that sound is permanent, for this statement, this is not a fault of the commitment, like this: contradiction is irrelevant to intention, there is no benefit, it does not exist together. If that is the case, then that is the fault of the sign, everything will become a fault of the commitment. If the commitment and the reason are contrary, then it will become a fault of the commitment called contradiction. That contradiction is also irrelevant to the intention.
