The dharmas and meanings arising from sound are appropriate, because there is no refutation in meaning. All meanings are only the appropriateness of dharmas arising from signs of things that are not definite, therefore, if appropriateness is harmed, that is the fault of the characteristic that is eliminated by fame. If all sounds are not completely combined with reasons? Like the sound of manda tsata and so on, there are also some reasons of general or special self-nature, therefore it is not just fame alone, if you say that, it is not so, because there is no evidence that based on the reason applicable to all sounds, it applies to things with reason. Reasons also depend on reasons, so there is no end. For example, if it is established somewhere, it is established by the power of things. The so-called having reason is the remainder of words. If you admit that the rabbit established by fame, there is no irrefutability for non-rabbits either. If you admit that the meaning of sound is established by fame alone, then there is no irrefutability for non-rabbits either. Whatever the object of expression and the expressing object that applies to anything, it is not reasonable to be determined separately, because there is no evidence of separate determination. There, just as reason applies only to things without reason, it will also become things with reason. Reason is not applied by anything other than desire. However, if it applies from there by its own nature, then in other places, what will prevent the self-nature? However, if it has a real relationship with it, so it applies to giving and so on, then how is this to be understood? The sound that is applied only by desire is like the current sound being seen only by desire. How does it apply to other things in other ways? Because seeing that it is applying, it is said to be applying, if you say that, it is not right, because it is also possible that it has already been allowed only by desire. From things that have entered only by desire, no other difference is seen. If you say that it is because desire is not noticed, then this not noticing may also exist in past desires. Not noticing does not harm all desires, but only harms the difference that exists now.

Not all are like that. Therefore, if here arises some desire for things that have been long past, what contradiction is there in naming present things from the proximate indication of it? Therefore, just as with reason, since desire also enters into things with reason, examining the reason is meaningless, so what should be done? Others say that what previously entered into the reason, later enters into the thing with reason, this is not so. Because gradual entry is not seen. If it is said that the thing itself and the cow itself also enter into some reasons, This itself is visible, then, no. Because that is a different sound. What is applied to what, that is its expression, because all expressed things and expressers are established as arising from the occasion of seeing combination. If following and returning are understood, then it is the entry into the substance itself that is bounded by the edge of the cause of things. Because if separated from the cause of things, it enters into the substance. If it enters into the substance, then if there is the cause of things, how does it merely express the reason? When it merely enters into the reason, then it is reasonable because the meaning of the cause of things itself is clearly manifested. Without the cause of things, the two sounds of the cow, which are the expression of substance and thing, are not understood as different. Therefore, if distinguishing is done through the cause of things, then, no. Because not all causes enter into their own meaning itself. For these two that enter into the substance, by making the cause of things, there is no contradiction in understanding the difference of its reason. Distinguishing through nature and cause is also ultimate, because from combination, the collection itself is understood as the expresser. Distinctions such as nature and cause are examined as if they were merely a form for the sake of the meaning that children should understand, if it were not so, children would not be able to understand easily. Therefore, there is no measure in saying that entering into the thing with reason relies on the reason. Others say that sound enters into the thing with reason itself. Reason distinguishes as if it were not to be expressed.
