It will not become that way, just like the fame that arises from sound. Therefore, it is not the case that one argues because of the non-common aspect. For example, saying "There is fire here because there is smoke," is like saying, "There is no fire here because there is smoke, just like a place devoid of fire." If it is said that merely combining things arbitrarily leads to expression, then even a pot would have the moon, thus becoming an example-less case. Is it then said, "This is indeed a place where there is no fire"? That is not so, because the fame arising from sound has a common harm. Is it not the case that here, the reason of the effect does not harm? In a place with smoke, the fire proven by inference, for those who do not prevent it, is it not realized to be harmful? The doubt about the harm caused by the dissimilar class has already been dispelled. Therefore, for all valid cognitions, opposition is not possible. Therefore, from inference, there is no non-erroneous contradiction. If it is not so, if harm exists for valid cognition, then there is no trust in anything. If there is no trust in what is not seen, it is not so, because mere non-apprehension is not a valid cognition. Because even if there is harm, it cannot be realized, because it is not the characteristic of an object of cognition. This also eliminates the case where the number intended to be expressed is the same. Like this, is it also cognized merely through non-apprehension? Or is it through relation? If it is cognized through non-apprehension, then because it is not a valid cognition, it is nothing at all. But if it is through relation, then from that, a non-erroneous contradiction is impossible. Because there, another relation is not possible, because existence and non-existence are impossible for one thing. Therefore, for inference that arises through the power of things, an erroneous contradiction is impossible. If it is shown that there is no non-erroneous contradiction in inference because of the uncommon reason, then at that time, when there is no inference because of the uncommon reason, and what is completely established by the reason of the effect and the reason of the nature, and is clear through the meaning of contradiction, is also not the subject, then what is this inference?

It should not be said. Similarly, should it also be said for direct perception? This is not at all the case, because in this way, its own direct perception and inference should also be said. If someone says that there is no object in direct perception because it is cognition, just as someone with eye disease recognizes the shapes of hair and mosquitoes, then this should be answered: Because the relationship is established, things are not non-existent, but are proven. Just like this, everything that has a relationship has things. If there is doubt or other statements about whether there are things in the cognition that does not conform to the relationship, then it becomes proving what has already been established. However, if you say the opposite, then at that time everything has things, so the opposite side itself is not common. If it is impossible for inference or other harm to direct perception? Because it is obvious. How can one prove that what is obvious does not exist? Because at the same moment, seeing and not seeing are impossible. Therefore, it is impossible to prove non-existence by non-appearance or other reasons, if you say so, it is not right, just like this: The cognition produced by direct perception does not harm anything, if not, because there is no difference, everything will become valid. There will be no harm to the illusory cognition that manifests the nature of sound and so on. Therefore, merely manifesting is not a valid measure. This also excludes no harm. Just like manifestation, the nature of no harm is not completely universal either. If it is said that what is not deceptive and has no harm is a valid measure, it will become like eating arura fruit will cause diarrhea. If it has non-deceptive properties, then what is the use of no harm? Because non-deceptive properties themselves are valid. However, if there is harm in the field of action of things, then in this way, its non-deceptive nature has no fault. This non-deceptive nature is not apparent either, because the nature of appearance is related, so even if it does not appear, it should be recognized. This relationship lies in inference.
