If there is no treatise, the subject itself will not exist, so if observation is not allowed, then at that time the treatise will be harmed, not others, to explain this, so it is explained together. It is not explained together because the outsiders think that the treatise's own words have more power, so it will become like that. Therefore, for this point, the metaphors are also, shown to be the same. If the valid cognitions do not exist, the words of the treatise are possible because. For the very reason, to show similarity, similar metaphors are spoken. If you abandon valid cognition, the treatise and words are not reasonable. If you block valid cognition, the treatise will not become valid cognition, then what will you admit? Therefore, it will only become mutually contradictory. One's own words are not clearly contradictory, for the scriptures only a part is shown. To this, the future Dharma, will not accomplish happiness, is said like this. If you say that valid cognition does not exist, then how does this contradict the treatise? The subject of valid cognition is not transformed from the treatise itself. If you say that no valid cognition exists, then from where will the subject and so on be established? Therefore, it is contradictory to one's own words. If you admit that something is established, then from where that is established, that itself will become valid cognition, because the object to be measured is accomplished from valid cognition itself. If there is no valid cognition, it will be said that nothing is known. Therefore, this does not contradict the treatise. If you speak because you do not admit the treatise, then it will change, so there is no fault. How to know that the treatise has been admitted? This is true, for the very reason, here it is not an example of excluding contradiction with the treatise, it only shows a part. The example of exclusion spoken by the person who explains the Commentary on Valid Cognition is: the future is not the happiness of accomplishing the Dharma. For this kind of object, there is no doubt that the treatise should be admitted, therefore this itself is an example of excluding contradiction with the treatise. Therefore, here it is contradictory to each other like one's own words. If so, then where the subject is established by valid cognition, there admitting the treatise will cause harm, because it is valid cognition. Treatise

If, for things that are also established in treatises, acknowledging them would itself become their harm, is that so? Here it says: For things that do not rely on it, even if saying contradicts the treatise, it is not harm, the two have equal power, so they will become obstacles. Treatises and one's own words, because all acknowledged things are established by valid cognition, there is no other difference. Therefore, the two have equal strength, so they are only obstacles, not the object of harm and the subject of harm. For example, like one's own words. At that time, one's own words, for which of them has valid cognition, it will become harm to the others. If not, it will lose reason. How can vows with equal power harm inferences that are truly meaningful? That scriptures are valid cognition has already been refuted before. Therefore, after acknowledging, this fault is considered speculative. These are the intermediate verses. Therefore, in order to harm inference, even if acknowledging does not exceed the external, it is to show the difference of objects. Therefore, the distinction is made. Precisely because of this, even if acknowledging will harm, scriptures will not exceed inference, it is also to show the difference of objects, so it is distinguished from inference. Inference is the subject of harm, while treatises are only obstacles. Obstacles are also acknowledgment, otherwise it would be too much, or doing it alone would be meaningless. One's own words are also different, merely saying words is an obstacle. If even if it is not necessary, one's own words and the words of treatises must be distinguished from inference, then because it is meaningless, the speaker will become unwise. Then, in the path of reason, how are one's own words and acknowledgment and the subject of contradiction distinguished from each other? If, like "all words are lies," expressing one's own words in the way of acknowledgment will cause harm, or like establishing the sound of an owl as permanent, causing harm in the way of previous acknowledgment, if the objects are not different, then showing them separately is meaningless, is that so? It is indeed different.
