Because it is related to the meaning to be proven, in order to declare the means of proof, it is said that words are the means of proof, but they themselves are not the means of proof. Therefore, saying that it is for the sake of others and inference is contradictory. For example, with regard to what is to be proven, it is its own meaning, and with regard to the speaker, it is merely a subsequent statement, and what is said is also very clear. It is considered as the cause of inference, so it is said to be inference, but it is not itself. Therefore, with regard to what is to be proven, it is its own meaning, which is only what is to be said, because for it, the three characteristics are what can be realized, so it is its own meaning. Words are not like that, because meaning cannot be realized from them. Because remembrance can also be helpful, in order to declare the action, it is said that words are the means of proof, just saying it. Therefore, although words are related to both, they are merely subsequent statements. Its meaning for others is with regard to the speaker, because for the speaker, it does not help in any way. As the cause of inference, inference itself is with regard to what is to be proven. If it is inference with regard to others, then how is this? Or to regard merit as fault, why is it not inference for the speaker, but only for what is to be proven? Therefore, it is for the sake of others for the speaker. If it is not like this, it will also become its own meaning, because it itself can accomplish its meaning. The necessity of approximate examination has also been explained. Because words are not the means of accomplishing the meaning in other ways. If for remembrance, are words valid or not valid? If they are valid, why are they not valid for meaning? If they are not valid, then how can remembrance arise from them? Precisely because of this, if it is not like this, then it will become valid, not remembrance. For remembrance, it is the cause, not the knower, therefore, validity itself does not exist. Unrelated to meaning.

How could remembrance arise from that because of that? Smoke is what causes remembrance because it is connected to fire. Similarly, if sound is also connected to that, then remembrance will arise in that way. Like this: Whatever remembrance is, That exists from connection. Therefore, for hidden fire, There is remembrance for smoke. That is not so, since remembrance alone exists from connection, connection and the arising of remembrance are not so, because it also exists from what is not connected to meaning, what contradiction is there between these two? Like this, for the seen meaning, effort or, using together many times, any meaning Of some, Isn't it that remembrance arises? If it is said that the remembrance of the nature of certainty is only from connection and not from others, then that is reasonable, without connection, it is not certain there. However, it is not established that remembrance is of the nature of certainty from sound, therefore connection is not established. Like this, those who have not examined the connection will become doubtful. From sound, the mere aim is to give rise to doubt. However, how is it certain that what is said is as it is? It is not so, because that certainty is from validity. Like this, what has entered before is certain from being examined by validity, not just from words. Then, it is from the words of certainty of validity, even so, is the word itself validity? To this it is stated: Thus, the desire for this itself, For the meaning itself, that is not validity. Because when this meaning is established, We have no validity whatsoever. For meaning, words are not validity, doing validity validity has no deficiency. Validity is also not established from words, because it is established by self-awareness. For that, it is only the cause of remembrance, establishment is from that self-awareness itself. Is it also so without words? Yes, because remembrance is also seen from effort. However, when it is not from effort, is the word validity at that time? That is not so, like this: From words, for meaning, in a reversed way, Remembrance is also seen to arise. True and untrue those, From words, no difference is seen. If thinking about meaning
