If it is the opposite of that, then what is said here is not an action, because it should become an inference that follows one's own meaning. If you say so, then those who want to establish other words according to their own certainty with words will be shown to be speaking unreasonably, because that is not established. What establishes what should be established is the establisher, not what should be established itself. If you say that words are the establisher, then no, because words are not truly established, because they are not related to what should be established. Words are not related to meaning. Therefore, because meaning is understood by meaning, one cannot speak of the subject and reason for meaning. Therefore, those from themselves, the establisher does not exist. Sound is impermanent because it is produced, thus the nature of being produced, established by the three modes, makes one understand impermanence, because there is no confusion about that, so it is not the words of the subject or the words of the reason. If it is not so, then sound is permanent because it is measurable, thus the to-be-established will also be established, because there are also the words of the subject and the reason. If it is not the reason because that meaning is not related to that, then it will be that because it is related, meaning itself will understand meaning, and words are not the true establisher. Because words exist even without meaning. Where the words of the reason are not the establisher, there the words of the subject are not the establisher, this is established without saying. Or, are the words to be established established by way of establishing the meaning to be established? No, because the reason becomes meaningless. Or, is the reason established because merely the vow is not the establisher? If it is not the establisher, how can it be the establisher? Is the accompanying one the establisher? If it is not needed, how can it accompany? No one wants to accompany anything that is not needed. Therefore, words are not the establisher. Furthermore, the words of the subject are from showing the speaker's intention, it is a measure, from that doubt arises, so it is not truly established.

It is not. There, the very cause of doubt is not the argument. Because being unrelated to the meaning is the cause of doubt. If it were not so, stating the argument would become meaningless. Then, how is it that the meaning of what is to be established by words, unlike being established, the meaning is not understood from there either? There too, it is because there is no connection. If there is a connection, then what is to be established, and what prevents the connection? That is true, the meaning of what establishes is not established by words either. Because there, from showing the thought, it is valid cognition, therefore it is not actually established. For what has been established, it is only the valid cognition of words that is cast. If valid cognition is also cast upon what is to be established, then it is not, because there it becomes valid cognition at that time. Words cast the valid cognition that has entered before, because there forgetting is possible. For the present, direct perception itself is valid cognition, what do words do for that? For the meaning of direct perception, the close indication of others is not important. Therefore, words are not establishing. Then, does the word of the subject establish indirectly, like the word of establishment? That is not so either, what is to be established is spoken, even through indirect means there is no power. The statement of the argument itself, even without power, shows power. If it is showing the power established by valid cognition, then how would the word of establishment be like establishment, and the word of the subject would also change? How does it establish when showing non-establishment? One who is himself incapable does not become capable without relying on power. Like this, falling relies on falling, it will not rely anywhere. Likewise, unestablished unestablished, that itself is not completely established. The word of the subject is because what is to be established is to be spoken as unestablished, so how does the word of the subject establish? The word of the argument is because it is itself incapable, but it can speak of power, therefore it speaks of establishment.
