If asked: Isn't it said that consciousness is only one? Answer: It is true to say so. But merely saying it does not answer the question. However, it is said with reason. That is not reason. Because consciousness that is not of the nature of attachment does not generate other consciousnesses from it. Action is not entering. Without prior habituation, it will not become attachment either. Therefore, for which nature, consciousness Previously habituated, later it will become attached in that way. Therefore, from the prior habituation itself, other consciousnesses will not arise. For which there is no other world, for that, prior habituation cannot exist. If prior habituation does not exist, other consciousnesses will not be prevented from changing. Therefore, when the body is that, the collection of consciousnesses arising from the body, changing again and again, that is not seen. However, that moment of the body, the first itself is rational, becoming the later generator, because of the inconsistency, it is not the cause itself. For the weak one, becoming the later one, and the characteristics are inconsistent, it is not the generator of consciousnesses. Does generating and inconsistent also generate, will it not change? That is also not so. If the first wisdom itself, arises from the characteristics of the body, then the body is not the support, there will only be wisdom itself. Those that are not giving benefit and giving benefit are not the objects of support and dependence. If that is the case, there will arise only consciousness itself. However, the generator of consciousness that acts together with the body, therefore is it not uniquely existing? If that is the case, from consciousness itself, it is consciousness, and the body is acting together, so our tenet is established. However, initially the body is the cause of taking closely, like the उत्पལ་(utpala, blue lotus) having heavy matter, from the outside it is like the उत्पལ་(utpala, blue lotus) itself generating उत्पལ་(utpala, blue lotus)? If that is the case, then even without the heavy matter of the cow, later it is like उत्पལ་(utpala, blue lotus) generating उत्पལ་(utpala, blue lotus) from उत्पལ་(utpala, blue lotus), because from consciousness itself it is consciousness, so it will become uniquely existing. However, is the body also considered the cause itself? Yes, but, taking closely

It is not the cause of arising, but merely acts as a co-existent cause, as has been said. If it is said that it was previously the proximate cause and later the co-existent cause, then the proximate cause will not become the later co-existent cause. If the body is the proximate cause, how can it become the co-existent cause? Because it is seen as such, there is no realization of seeing here. It is not the case that cow dung and lotuses, etc., would also occur in that way, because there is a great difference between the two, as has been shown. Those born of brightness, etc., what is seen by some from knowledge, that which is seen first, is the establisher of other consciousnesses. Therefore, consciousness does not arise from the body. However, according to your view, if the body is not the support of consciousness, then when the body is destroyed, it would necessarily follow that consciousness alone would remain, because it is not certain that they exist together without reason. Here, in response to the doubts of others, the answer is as follows: If the body is destroyed, because it is not the support, then the mind alone exists. If you say that, if its cause enters, the continuum of consciousness, the cause of existence, the limb does not change, then at that time it is possible to exist alone, which is the remainder of the statement. When, the five aggregates of this life, are the cause of producing another body. At that time, some existence is important, thus the cause of the continuum of consciousness existing, its cause enters, that is, the cause of the body, named "mer mer po" etc., its entry is manifestly directed towards producing the body. Obtaining it does not exist solely in the cause of the body, but also the cause of the continuum of consciousness existing, that is, the previous karma named "mind", when it is the cause of the co-existent limb. Its limb itself is not together with the desire for the body. If it does not become a limb, then at that time it is desired to exist alone. For the production of another body, the five aggregates of this life are, for the production of the body of those who have died and transmigrated from the formless realm, it is also the cause by that very agent. If the production of the body is not seen after death, then it is a limb of
