It is also because the internal is the same. Therefore, it is not right to think that the external environment also becomes the support. When seeing things that are loved in the heart, or because the senses are the same, etc., even if it is not a difference in the internal environment, at that time, happiness and suffering, etc., are not dependent on it. The environment is not the support, nor does it change because of its change. For example, happiness arises in the heart towards the environment, and completely abandoning it, one tends towards the external environment, just like this, it is the same for other bodies such as the next life. For example, aggregation, etc. It is said to be amnesia, etc. Arising from the difference in the internal environment, the mind will change. There, also because of taking in nutrients, etc., when the internal environment is close, happiness and other consciousnesses will arise, but not from this will amnesia, etc., occur. The transformation of the body, whatever is produced by combination, is not what becomes the support. Just as the eye, etc., is not the object to be observed, but its consciousness can arise, and if it changes, the consciousness also changes accordingly, similarly, it is not caused by the body that changes by taking in nutrients, etc. If there is no consciousness, it is the cause, then everything becomes the cause, which is too much. The eye, etc., are accompanying and changing, and if it changes, it also changes accordingly, therefore it becomes the object of support. The body is not like this, even without it, because of other proximity, there will be happiness. Amnesia also changes if one sees external rakshasas, etc. To illustrate this point, for example, in some special bloodlines, just hearing about tigers or blood, etc., or seeing them, it will be like fainting, etc., occurring. The meaning is that just hearing about tigers, some people will faint or undergo other changes. Seeing blood is also the same. So, is consciousness the support? It also does not change because of its change. Similarly, in the case of aggregation, etc., the changes such as amnesia also occur because the observation of the internal environment is close, so the body is not the support of consciousness. The body is only the object of observation of happiness, etc., therefore, they also do not change when it changes, because there are other objects of observation. Therefore

Whatever is in the mind, the follower of action, the mind does not arise without it, therefore it relies on the mind. The mind definitely enters after the action of the mind, but not the body, because the body is not seen as the basis. Because the mind is connected to other minds, other minds do not arise, so the mind relies on the mind itself. Like this, because the action has power, it can prevent distraction. If distraction has power, then the action will turn to other places. When the action is very powerful, then even in faintness, the mind will not be distracted. When the object of distraction has power, then even if there is action, it does not generate the reason that follows its own fruit. Therefore, the mind does not arise if there is no prior consciousness. Therefore, if consciousness ceases, then the mind ceases, it should be reasoned like that. If it is said that consciousness arises from the senses, does the consciousness of the mind also arise from that? Thus, since the consciousness of the mind arises from the body itself through transmission, how is the body not the basis? Although it is the cause through transmission, it is not the case that the smoke produced after the fire smoke cannot be stopped, nor is it that what did not exist before does not arise from other fires. Likewise, is consciousness also born from the body, becoming a dharma of cessation like smoke? No, the consciousness of the mind transforms from beginningless habits even without sense consciousness, therefore it is declared. How is smoke from fire? How is the appearance not from smoke? How is the mind from habit? Such a nature arises first. The smoke produced by fire and the smoke produced by smoke are not of the same nature. The difference of intelligence, such as wisdom, etc., which pervades everything, grasping at self, etc., is the same nature as the immediate and previous habits, therefore smoke is not an analogy. Smoke lasts for a short time only from the difference of fire, but wisdom, etc., exists only from the difference of previous wisdom, etc., and it is not that they are sustained by the body.
