That (par de) always holds the one and only, without mixing with others, it is holding the one and only realization. In the direct perception of holding the one and only, the non-deceptive is the existent. Therefore, that is direct perception itself. If not so, it is invisible. If it is not real, because of ignorance, where is the one and only realized? There also, if there is no one and only awareness, it is the same because there is none. How does the unreal one and only measure with the non-existence of the unreal? Likewise, the real is also like that, if not, it would be infinite. If the non-existence of the real is not realized, then the one and only is not realized. If the one and only is not realized, then the non-existence of the real is not realized, so it is the same. The one and only of the non-existence of the real, how is it realized without the non-existence of the other real? There also, if the non-existence of the real is realized, then it is infinite. That is invisible depending on the meaning of memory. The establishment of the non-existence of the real is the consciousness of direct perception. The expression of non-existence becomes only something by the power of habit, not others, this is differentiation. Therefore, by holding the one and only, just as the consciousness of being awake is the harm to the consciousness of dreaming, so is the reverse, this is reason. Therefore, what arises from sound is also a measure because it shows what is desired to be manifested. Therefore, "Because it is not connected with others, The mind of decline does not change to measure." This is negation. If the Bhagavan (bcom ldan 'das) is the correct measure, what is the meaning? Because from the measure of expression itself, all the meaning of the person can be accomplished. That is not there, holding the self-existent as direct perception, in other places it is the object of inference. This will also be explained later, the other is not a measure. For the time being, direct perception does not apply to the other world, etc., because it only holds its own nature, it should be shown like this. Inference does not exist without holding the relationship, and those who universally hold the relationship cannot be held by those who are not omniscient. Because the nature of direct perception, which is the ultimate knowledge of its own nature, does not hold the relationship, and even if the inference itself holds the relationship, it is also the only one.

It will become a fault of relying on one. Direct perception and inference are valid in name because they are in accordance with establishing omniscience. If it is not so, then the statement "it is not" should be refuted. If because one's own nature is its object, and inference also depends on grasping the relationship, then the validity of the characteristics of direct perception and inference does not apply to the other world, etc. Because the treatise is not like that, it clearly accomplishes the desired meaning from it, then what is the use of establishing the Blessed One as a true measure? To this it should be said: The object of the speaker's action, whatever meaning is very clear in the mind, sound is the measure of it, the essence of meaning is not causal. The sound not made by a person is not, it should be refuted later. What is done by a person is changeable. In that, the speaker's action is wanting to say. The speaker is the one who wants to say, whatever meaning of the object of wanting to say is clear in the mind of the listener, sound is the measure of that, and the action of sound is in that. Otherwise, wanting to say but showing something else will not precede understanding. In that case, it is very clear that it is not a measure. What is wanted to be said is not all-knowing, if it is not so, it will not become contradictory treatises. Contradictory meanings cannot be established either. If merely establishing in any way accomplishes the meaning, then because it is meaningless, the treatise is not a measure. For arbitrarily following establishment, there is also the fault of becoming fruit established. If so, then as desired, entering will have no dispute, because someone's establishment of someone, no fruit will occur. Therefore, if the speaker is not omniscient, then sound is only the measure of the object of the explainer's action, not the cause of the essence of meaning. For what is not made by a person, when one understands the meaning oneself, then whatever meaning is clear in the mind, and when one understands from the explainer, then it is the speaker's action.
