It is not from the sound of "va." If it is said that the non-falsity of sound is what is to be established, then in that case, sound would establish what is to be established. However, if what is to be established cannot be established from that sound, how can it be said that the sound is not false? This means that sound establishes what is to be established through being a means of establishing things, or it is close, but it is not actually so. Therefore, even if one wants the sound to be non-false, one cannot establish what is to be established by abandoning meaning. Therefore, it is the examination that relies on meaning that is most needed. The determination of whether things are false or not will be discussed later. Therefore, from where can the Isvara be established? The reason of the nature of things does not exist. Therefore, even if it is impermanent, it is also immeasurable, and thus it can be established. Likewise, permanence is also the same. Merely by permanence, the distinction between cause and non-cause for space and so on and Isvara does not exist. For example: Just as a thing is a cause, so too, when, by what is a non-cause a cause? One wants but does not want a non-cause. Just as Isvara is characterized by pervasiveness and permanence, so too are space and so on. Since they are the same, from where does the distinction that Isvara is the cause and space and so on are not the cause come from? If it is said that it is because it is associated with the knowledge of the characteristic of wanting to do, that is why it is said, that is also not correct, because that is also the same. Furthermore, merely by wanting to do, it is not understood as a cause. Is this a crow and a palm tree? Or is that the cause? If one excludes "etc.", if it is doing, then it is the cause. If it is not so, why not want the cause of everything to be everything? Or, just as it was not a cause before arising, there is no difference in the stage of arising, therefore it is not a cause. It is reasonable to be completely liberated from all desires and so on and to abide without doing anything. If it is said that because he has become the master of worldly affairs, he does not have the freedom to abide without doing anything, that is not correct, because he is under the control of the actions of others.

How is the Lord both the Lord and not the Lord? Or is there a difference in affection towards him? Why is there no affection for accomplishing hell and so on? Because the world's karma is such, therefore to him. If he cannot do it, then this is not a holy being. If a holy being cannot do good, then does he engage in non-good deeds? The deeds of a non-holy being are of the kind that a holy being should abandon. Applying salt to a wound is not the conduct of a holy being. Therefore, this principle is just like this, and this is what clarifies that nature, and it is conduct for the sake of that action. My nature is like this, and I cannot reverse it. If it is said that the world should be abandoned accordingly, then because this self also has no power, this clearly is the Lord. In conduct that is appropriate to one's own actions, why is the world not the Lord? If that too is urged by the Lord, then they are mutually dependent on that nature. If that is the case, then even one is not acceptable. If the Lord has no power, then good! Beings will be accomplished by karma. If the world arises independently here, then speaking of karma is praised. If, again, even if we do not see that reality, and I do not know it, then does that Lord also become the cause of hundreds? If so, then alas! For the sake of accomplishing that, seeing that nature is it. That which is known, by which one knows, is different because it is without end. The Lord becomes many. We and others, connected with weapons and medicine, are black wounds and scars, why are trees that are not connected not understood as causes? But because there is no connection, it has no function of dwelling, so it is not a cause? The function of dwelling also has hundreds, but that is because we have not seen that reality, and we have not observed it. Alas! If there is no function of dwelling because of non-observation? If so, then alas! Because there is no difference in nature, action is also not reasonable. Because the permanent has no change, power is also difficult to understand. The Lord who is constant, either constantly or in a different way, is constant.
