It is for the purpose of argumentation, and the fault stated for the object of argumentation is hoped to be the same as the result. If it is said that being the same as the result has the nature of after-effect, then what kind of fault is it? Saying difference is a fault. Saying difference is the near taking, is it taking the result itself to appear, or is it taking the arising, thus the fault of saying difference from difference in relation is the same result. In this regard, if it is said that the uncertain statement is for the sake of eliminating what is obscured by effort, this is also not contradictory, it is not an after-effect. However, it can also be argued through the general aspect, because for the permanent dharma, manifestation is also contradictory, therefore it is an after-effect. If it is not like that, it is the truth of uncertain statement. But, the answer here is, if the result is other, then effort is not the cause, this comes from the reasonableness of the invisible cause. If the result is other, then, the effort on sound is not the cause, this comes from the reasonableness of the invisible cause such as obstacles. There is no reasonableness of the cause such as obstacles on sound, therefore, it is not immediately manifested after effort. Whatever is immediately manifested after effort, for the invisible cause, obstacles are reasonable, and after eliminating the obstacles, the appearance of the object is immediately produced after effort, therefore, the characteristic of appearance is that it will appear. What is to be said here is: if appearance and association are also reasonable for the permanent dharma, and there is none on sound, how is this known from where? However, sound does not appear like a vase etc., obstacles etc. are sound, the realization of appearance is not consciousness, and what is born from effort is not seen. If you think like this, that is also not true, there are obstacles etc. on sound, you should investigate. Because it is recognition, sound is not terrifying. Vases etc. are also, what was seen before, did not disappear in the case of interruption in the middle, and when there is no obstacle, it is realized from the recognition itself. Sound is also reasonable in the same way because it is recognition. But, because it is seen by others, it is realized like that, recognition is

If not, to understand in this way through the indication of others, but not to truly understand from recognizing oneself, that is truly a great view. Furthermore, to know from others, if it is not known from others, how can it become permanent from others? Therefore, here, to establish by commonality, etc., what was said before is the answer. Or, the fruit itself, by the part of another, whatever demonstrates that what is to be established is established, that is the fruit-similarity speaker, from whose thought these three aspects arise. This is what was said, having shown from the definition of fruit-similarity taught by the teacher. The definition of foot and eye is unreasonable, it has been shown. The meaning of this is this: if it is said that because it is made, sound is impermanent, like a pot, then the fruit is other, because the pot is impermanent, what will sound become here? This is fruit-similarity. This has three aspects from the speaker's thought: if the speaker argues that the fruit of the pot does not exist in sound, then it is like unestablished; or if the fruit of sound does not exist in impermanent things such as pots, then it seems like a contradiction; or if it does not exist even in permanent things, then it seems uncertain because it is not common. What is similar to discrimination is the dharma,
