It also exists. If it is said that it is due to the direct perception of the yogi, then merely through meditation, one does not become a yogi. However, through the wisdom arising from hearing, one grasps the meaning, and through the wisdom arising from thinking, one distinguishes. When the meaning of the meditators is complete, whatever has a non-inverted object, that itself is valid cognition, and the one who possesses this is a yogi. Even so, the path of uniting calm abiding and insight is yoga, so it is said. This is clear, these are what appear to the yogi, even so, this is not the reality for the sake of the fruit, but an appearance. Therefore, for them, that is not a real appearance. Therefore, if the yogi appears as a non-real nature, how can it exist just like that? Therefore, for the wisdom of the yogi, those are also not the appearance of the real nature. Merely appearing does not become real, but it comes from examination. Meditation arising merely from realization is not the cause of realizing reality, but if it comes through the power of valid cognition, then it is so, this is definitely certain. Like this: Because it arises merely from meditation, it is said to be not that. Realizing through the door of things, is desiring the certainty of things. Merely from meditation, therefore sometimes real and sometimes not real. Whatever is deeply meditated, when meditation is complete, that is the fruit of clear non-conceptual wisdom. Merely meditating on existence is not, because it is also the object of meditation. Therefore, whatever is meditated, when meditation is complete, that clear non-conceptual wisdom is the fruit of deep meditation. Meditation has not been seen to change into something else. Regarding this, like the previously examined things, whatever is non-deceptive, is considered to be the direct perception born of meditation, the rest is not confused. This is called an intermediate verse. Even if it arises through the power of meditation, the previously examined things, the four noble truths of the transcendent world, etc., the non-deceptive, whatever is impossible to exist, only its object is direct perception, this

It is not one with places like lotuses. That is because it is clearly visible, although there is no conceptualization, it is actually false. Therefore, the knowledge of dreams, etc., is not deceptive, and is actually not direct perception. If knowledge is not direct perception through the power of meditation, then all knowledge related to non-Buddhists will become direct perception, because they also do not have meditation, so it is impossible to say that. As follows: If it is said that this is common to the world, and it only exists in some people, then how can it not be a realm that necessarily transcends knowledge? Therefore, it is impossible to say that the collection of things that belong to the category of one's own doctrine, which is proven by the direct perception arising from the meditation of other non-Buddhist practitioners, does not exist. Therefore, one should also act according to what they have declared. If it is said that it is not so because inference etc. will cause harm, that is not correct. As follows: The senses cannot touch, it is not an object of knowledge, and inference will not harm the words of those sages who have seen things with their eyes. If it is said that it is not known that that is what they have seen, if they have really seen it, then their words will not be harmed. If so, then how can it be said that the Tathagata also knows the truth, etc.? That is not correct. As follows: The words of the Tathagata are infallible measures, and if they are harmed by other measures, then the Tathagata has seen them. If it is said that the human measure is not a measure for objects beyond the senses, then how can it harm or prove objects beyond the senses? Because what can be harmed and what is harmed exist in the same field. The measure of samsara cannot fully enter the realm beyond the senses. The knowledge of yogis will also harm their views. As follows: The words of the Tathagata, wherever there is contradiction, the cause of its words—knowledge—will fully show harm. If it is said that this is the same in refutation, that is not correct. As follows: If it is just stating an object beyond the senses, that is knowledge, then from his words, the wise
